the art is good, somewhere a cross between dragonball and capcom character designs. the fight scenes match the art style nicely. while it does end right when things are about to pick back up,it still leaves at a nice point.

The ending just, really sucks, I'm sorry to say. Probably, it was cancelled. However, the rest of the series is awesome. The fights are really good, much better than some crappy mangas out there. Plus, the drawings are the best I've seen in a martial arts story. The main character is just adorable; he does whatever he wants and he's so focused. Plus, Sen's fighting style is really cool to watch, and there's no icky romance to distract!

so, the manga is ok, the fights could be a bit more longer, but i rate enjoyed, the plot is kind of crazy and the end is crap. There is no end at all. Maybe it got canceled or something like that... reminds me a little o kenichi...

Worth it

Okay so I still gave it a 10 rating despite it's open-ended ending because it's still a really awesome fighting manga regardless.

I think Sen's adorable. He has his own code of whats right and wrong and he's a sorta silly guy. Honest about who and what he thinks about and crazy fighting skill. I approve. I definitely wished there was more though, cause I feel like this shounen manga had the potential to be one of those really long, really good shounen sports manga out there.

Worth the read, definitely.

Great manga, great cliffhanger for continuation

One of my top mangas i read because it is a great martial arts manga (has some true styles and skills) and pretty good comedy also.

The ending is good AS a cliffhanger for a NEW or CONTINUATION of the series. I know it might be too late for it to continue on, but there might be a chance (maybe 0.1%) of the author going back to this series and extending it. If it does, ill continue reading it to finish off COMPLETELY.

Overall, great manga and one of my new favourites

starts off beautiful but...i never knew an author cud just kill a manga like that, maybe the manga was being dropped from publication i dont know, all i know is that there is absolutely no closure at the end, not even a little, ur probably thinking...no it cant be that bad, oh....but it is. b4 reading this be prepared to be totally pissed off at the end with an incredibly unsatisfied feeling, its almost as bad as the time where i went to watch "i am legend" except that has an ending...shud change the title of the movie to "i am leaving" coz thats what i was feeling while watching it...ahem...yuu and the dad cry babies...furthermore, umm...LAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Potential.

It starts off nice. A good dose of comedy and an interesting, albeit common, setting. The clichés are there. Anyone who has read his fair share of Shounen/action knows what he's in for. But despite the shortness, it's worth a read.

One thing, however, shatters the potential.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
I can understand cliffhanger-endings. I support them, in fact. But there's a difference between leaving a narrow gap for the story to squeeze through, and an open doorway. UR's ending was of the latter. If it had ended without his father appearing, then it would've been different. The approaching fight between father and son would be further into the distance. But he appeared, and it should've been a volume-ending - not a series-ending- move. It was, to be frank, lame.

It really does have an open ending, it reminds me a lot of Fist of the North Star really. Go ahead, read it.

This is a good fighting manga. The main character is the kind of reckless guy that just loves to challenge any opponent. Each fight that takes place is interesting in its own way so I wasn't bored for even one moment while reading this 4 volume manga.
The only thing that bugs me about this manga is that the ending is a bit too open.

----- WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD -----

Spoiler (highlight to view)
After winning the tournament his father pops-up and proves his strength by taking down the dragon dojo. It appears he's after Sen's life ?!
And with that setting the story ends >_>
I would've like a fifth volume to display a bit more of Sen's future or to at least end the father-succesor dispute!
