I wish Takamiya explained the lore more about the wolf ears and stuff and the ending felt rushed.

I actually liked it even though it was a short shoujo. It flowed very well. I just thought it might have been too short. Artistry was aight as well.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
starts with a quick girl meets boy situation. But the guy is a dogmatic abusive jerk. But for some reason she likes him. As well as discovers she has powers to match his to defeat these random cards. They gradually get put into situations that make them more open and closer to each other. To be honest I wish there was more background on what these cards are about then what was told. Also why is it okay for this guy to hit girls and her still like him wtf?!?!

This story is so cute! The relationship between the two main characters is pretty funny, also. And it's funny how when one hugs the other, one of them has their ears pop out. I really do wish this had gone on longer though. I think it would have been a lot better if their romance budded after awhile rather than instantly because she only knows Kaichou for maybe a day and then things start rapidly moving along. If they had known each other longer before the romance started up, this would have been much better. I was also hoping for more conflicts than just the one or two that came up. Overall, it was cute and okay.

Why xxx (not saying what since it's a spoiler)? What are they? Why Ears? What is the connection? Why was there only a limited number of xxx? Who is he really? The mythology of this manga makes no sense, nada, zero, and we never get even a tiny bit of explanation, it's like the author just slapped on the first things he thought about and never bothered to reason them out.
It's cute, though, that bad tempered boy is adorable, and the romance part definitely works.

Really Cute

I think that Full Moon Joker is one of the cutest manga I've read, and I was stuck from the first page! I love the characters, the story and the art work though I would have really like it to be a little longer than just 5 chapters... I had read the whole thing in 5 hours tops, with occational pauses cause I didn't want it to end so soon.
It only gets 9,5 for the shortness of the series, and since I loved it so much that I just couldn't give it a lower rating ;A;~ I hope you're ashamed of yourself Takayamiya for not making like a million chapters!

This was a really cute manga. I wish it could have gone beyond 5 chapters but I guess that could not be helped. I liked the feel of the characters and I think that the art work while not outstanding was nothing to scoff at.

I'll give it a 9.5 only because I really wish the story could have continued for at least a thousand chapters! =P It left me with the feeling of wanting more. Ended up too soon... Xo
Please, keep developing this series, Takamiya-sensei! T_T

I've become a fan of Takamiya Satoru ever since I've read La Suite D'amour Du Chat Noir, and noticed that her work does not comprise typical shoujo, feel-good, romance fluff but range into other genres as well, such as the supernatural sometimes. This is one of her stronger points, since this guarantees that no work of hers would ever feel like your typical, 100% hackneyed shoujo manga.

Another bonus point for her is her ever gorgeous style of artwork, which is always a visual feast for the eyes.

For Full Moon Joker, I feel that Takayamiya's artwork is still on its evolutionary phase and not yet as fully developed as compared to her later works. But still, it's cute and shoujo-esque, to put it simply.

The plot is interesting in itself, but since this is done on two chapters only, the execution might be a bit messy but understandable all the same. In fact, the way the author builds up the romantic tension on chapter two makes me go 'squeeeeeeeeeee'.

And I feel it's too short and left off. There was no conclusion, it's just somewhat of a short glimpse into the lives of the characters, and then that's that. A bit unsatisfying, but I've never encountered any work of Takamiya longer than a one-shot, really.

Edit: Takamiya Satoru is actually a guy. Just recently found out. Silly me...
