After orphan Teru Kurebayashi loses her beloved older brother, she finds solace in the messages she exchanges with Daisy, an enigmatic figure who can only be reached through the cell phone her brother left her. Meanwhile, Teru meets and forms a strange friendship with mysterious Tasuku Kurosaki, her school's janitor. For some reason, Kurosaki always seems to be around whenever Teru needs help which leads Teru to wonder: Could Daisy be a lot closer than she thinks?
As the mystery of Daisy unfolds, Teru also discovers that there may have been a lot more to the life and death of her brother than she ever dreamed . . . and that the man she thought was her friend just might have all the answers.

Awesome Story, Unique Romance
This is definitely one of my favorite shoujo mangas. It's got a love story AND an actual interesting plot! And it's hilarious! Also the serious parts aren't so overblown and exaggerated they cease to feel serious--unless the laughter was intended. But I think the thing I like the most about Dengeki Daisy is the way the characters are portrayed in a very human way, without the excessive rose glasses of other shoujo manga. Kurosaki is way attractive (with the exception of the smoking) but he's also human and a boy, prone to being occasionally stupid and gross. I also really like the female lead. Teru's not a wimp, and she isn't always crying and waiting to be protected by her knight in shining armor. She's still a girl with normal insecurities and weaknesses, but she stands up for herself and fights when the situation demands it (with varying degrees of success). She isn't impossibly naive or annoying in any way. She's actually very clever. And the plot--wow. Veeery interesting. A mysterious past, suspicious motives, manipulative enemies, all the good stuff. And did I say this manga is hilarious? A perfect mixture of funny, suspenseful, romantic, and mysterious.

This manga is so incredbily good. It is so much better than the stereotypical, romantic, shouja manga. Rather than having very generic characters, the characters in this story actually have unique personalities that distinguish them from one another. Each character seems to have a past or some sort of back story, which makes them seem so much more realistic than many other characters in mediocre romance mangas. The relationship between Teru and Daisy is much deeper than just a boy-girl romance. These two characters seem to connect on a completely different level. Their relationship is in no way cheesy, but still very cute and adorable. What makes this manga so good is that there is more to the story than just the developing romance between the two main characters. There is a mystery that propels the story forward and keeps it very interesting. This manga is a definite must read.
This my absolute favorite manga. The tsundere male lead is super super handsome, and possesses amazing, but not superhuman fake, skills. I love the internal conflict here and in certain situations. I am at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. There are twists and turns in this manga, but it is charming and just fabulous. The comedy is just classy. It's really fresh and edgy. Kyosuke's chibis are super cute too! I love how it can be super serious dramatic (not to mention gorgeous) one moment, and then super cute funny the next. Teru is such a strong lead. She is kind and spirited, but definitely isn't an idiot. She learns to know when someone is trying to play her. The relationship between the leads is absolutely breathtaking. I have a thing for age gaps, too, but it isn't a big deal here. I could reread this four-hundred times. As an artist, I also truly appreciate the art. It's the perfect mix of details and flowery-shoujo-goodness and totally intense dark panels as well. I LOVE this. Love. A must-read.
Must Be picked UP!
I'm literally itching to get to know what happens. The characters are so intriguing and so funny that i wanna hug 'em >///<. Art is easy on the eye so you can rest you're hurting eyes. The story to me is like a warm fluffy blanket. <3 READ IT!! its a MUST. (Go Motomi-sensei!!)
THIS MANGA'S TERRIFIC!!!
I love this manga! It's funny and cute and warm-hearting. I like the 2 characters (both crazy + weird but cutix). But I really don't like it when the mangaka made consecutive series on the past (between Daisy & Sou). I mean... mangaka can insert those details like flash back or what so that it can be much more interesting. However, I still think it's a really terrific manga!!!
This is one of my favorite mangas ever!!!! Kurosaki is so frickin funny, and Teru isn't one of those overly emotional idiots you usually find in shoujo. She has a brain, and she actually USES it. Kudos to the mangaka for making it realistic (not that you'll find a janitor that hot anywhere) totally LOVED it. i'm stalking VIZ until they finish english publication. Definitely a must read!!!

Fun and the BEST! No words to describe.
This is the funniest and best manga that I ever read. I love this mangaka. Beast master and now Dengeki Daisy. The mangaka sure knows how to write and draw great storylines and characters.
Teru, the heroine is the best one I ever seen. She cried, joked, and stayed strong at times she should. That's why no one could ever hate her.
Kurosaki is a cool, caring and funny. That makes him a great guy with multiples personality.
To sum it up, this manga is totally awesome. A MUST READ! Best, get yours hands on the manga if you can find it in any manga shop (like me.)!
too many things to say.. Teru is the best heroine i've ever encountered. If you read the translations, you can tell that her character develops immensely.. As for kurosaki, he's damn funny and loyal to her brother, which is why he tries to help teru and stops himself from getting too close to her.. Im on ch 42 and so far, I have never regretted reading this one bit. I have to say it can possibly be the best shoujo manga out there, considering the fact that the author is a guy. He is also the author of Beast Master. This has already been licensed which proves how great the manga is.
EDIT: Got boring. Dropped. Waiting for a release every month just to see more computer wizard stuff... yeah, I'm not that tolerant. I wanted more romance from this (there certainly is, but I want it every chapter BAHAHAH) but that's just me.
