A dark 1990s shoujo indeed.

Drawn to the premise Obana had offered up her sleeve, I started binge reading and finished it in one sitting. A lot to say here, first of all, damn tea sis.

Story wise, not too long, nor too short. Very straightforward and tight, well written despite it had a lot genres mixed in one with sci-fi, mystery, romcom as major ones. I couldn't think of any plot hole looming over the story, basically.

Character wise, well developed characters enough to embrace and overcome their own flaws as it is. I came to love all those characters politically, even the morally grey Professor one. Not that it lacked any sort of character type but as a noir fan, I couldn't help but wondering what if a fatale character were present in the story. Perhaps, the professor himself could pose well enough as a homme fatale.

Aesthetic wise, it really lived up to late 1990s until early 2000s style to my pleasure.

The ending was bittersweet, no more and no less. I was pretty satisfied, but still ponder for those who died.

I enjoyed reading this it contains a lot of elements I like in a manga and was still a good read but I reeeeeeealy hope there is atleast one chapter or even a page more cause that end seems really lacking.

Cool Obana Manga

I loved this manga series! I happened to stumble over it a few years back on the internet and I was more than happy when I found the volumes in a used-manga store called book off in Japan. I think I paid about 4 bucks for the whole lot of the volumes and let me tell you, wasn't that some of the best-spent money of my life!
Obana creates a chilling world of mystery that is both fascinating and disgusting.
At first, it's a story about twin sisters in love with the same guy... until one of them dies. And comes back looking quite alive.
I don't want to spoil this for anyone, because I hope that one day, this will be completely scanlated and other people will be able to read it as well, so I'll shut up.
Definetely recommended!

This manga has a sad but unique plot. I can't guess what's going to happen at all. I enjoy the manga a lot. The illustration is nice as well.
It's good there's some humor in it (thank god, otherwise the plot will be too too dark).

What a pity...

Given that the story is so interesting, it's a pity that it's been 3 years since Omanga has released any new chapters. In addition, they've been concentrating mainly on a couple of series, so don't get your hopes up.

About the story: hmmm, it's not as dark as it seems. It's a little twisted but that only makes it a rather interesting tale..

So far, I haven't read too much of it, like completely, but its very very dark story in all, but there is still some humor in it. I rather like it, though it can easily make a person feel depressed. ;~; I feel bad for the characters, and sometimes feel like stopping myself from reading cause I feel like something sad is gonna happen again, but I love Obana, so I continue onward~ I'll update this later if I feel it's not as good as when I started.
