Description

Basically, the teenage detective kiddo was frozen by some EVIL MASTERMIND PROFESSOR back in near-mid-1900’s, and gets unfrozen in the 2000’s by his granddaughter. Hilarity ensues as he encounters weird new stuff and does silly blunders in his daily life with his granddaughter, Hikari.

Is it not possible for him to have gotten unfrozen by a different person and went back to his regular time period and eventually had the granddaughter who then proceeded to unfreeze the teenager detective in this story's current time frame? Haha... just kidding. It's a pretty whacky theme to start off a series. This had me describe this series as skeptical at best. At the time, the only thing that kept me reading was the fun and quirkiness the series brought to me. It was somewhat predictable and repetitive, but I enjoyed it enough to continue reading. However, towards the climax and finish of the series, the story got very serious and went through a phase where all the fine details were pretty much explained. In my mind, I disagree with how some of the story went. That's just my opinion. Like, I wish "this" or "that" happened instead, etc. But I urge you not to discontinue this series early despite your possible disinterest. You may come to enjoy this series very much as I have upon finishing. TL;DR summary - This unique plotted story begins questionably. Story gets better as the series progresses and most if not all questions are answered at the end. Overall fun read with a fit ending.

This is a fun manga with great characters, great artwork and even a lot of interesting facts about Japan in the 1950's and in the first years of the 21st Century. Spoiler (highlight to view) The following is totaly my speculation, although I'm sure quite a few others out there have come to this conclusion also. She (Hikari-kun) is NOT Dash's (Teruaki) Granddaughter, she is Dr. Skull's (Heinrich) Granddaughter. Otherwise his own granddaughter could not find him still frozen in the 21st Century. Unless he did the "nasty" before he was frozen, which is not likely.

Well personally i found this manga pretty entertaining and funny as for how he had an offspring when he's just a kid you'll have to just keep reading to find out, the latest the chapter(ch28) gave some info about Dash and Dr.Skull so the truth about granddaughter will be reveled with time..... ... ok.... i just dont get this. bascially, so this guy got frozen when he was a teenager and he had a grand daughter that unfrozen him. therefore, it is logic to say that he have an offspring before he got frozen.... now, rather quick, don't you agree?..
