this is really bad
it feels like really bad fanfic based on some kind of cool vampire movie
this is also the case with other stories i have read of hideyuki kikuchi
it feels like the "real" story that it is based on could be interesting
but that the "fanfic" author just is not capable to bring it to life
and since there are parts that are interesting you keep on hoping that the next novel will be better
but...
as i see it they just keep getting worse
some reasons why i think hideyuki is an awful author
retconing characters is something that happens alot
sometimes even 2-3 times in the same chapter
that might be part of the "charm" ...but i can not stand it
woman are overall treated like garbage
they are either hysterical sexobjects, horny teenagers, weak sexobjects or lovesick sexobjects
they serve basically the role of asahina in the haruhi world
a doll that lets the author over and over explain how cute,sexy or faltout -fuckable- they look ...and its even worse here
and they seems to want to be treated like this too witch makes it worse
the logic most characters seems to live by is so weird and sometimes sick
that no1 could function in any of these "worlds"

stay away
Amano is the only reason to check out these books...better and alot cheaper to buy artbooks or just use google...
