Description
Because the way people have a high interest in "sex," a sex school was formed in order to fulfill the students' desires and help them become more advanced in their skills. Ion, in order to help pay off the debts in his family, has enrolled in the school, hoping to gain knowledge and sell out his body in the future to gain money. You see, I like my Yaoi manga to be sexy. So there shouldn't be an issue here since this manga is brimming with sex scenes, right? well, no. The problem is that after a while, I started to think that this manga was a tad bit boring. The characters are what bore me the most, since they are so darn cliched! The Seme's look hot, while the Uke's were not to my taste at all with their big eyes that take up to 2/3 of their tiny faces. I also was mildly disturbed by some scenes that make the school seem like something out of the red light district. I mean, even though I do tend to turn my brain off while reading Yaoi, the fact that

one guy actually sells his lover to the school
kind of make me question the nature of this seemingly legal sex school (lol now that sounded ridiculous).
I tried so hard to ignore that, but it somewhat stayed at the back of my mind because it contrasted with the manga's fun loving tone .
So this manga was cliched and the uke's were not to my taste at all. I give it 5.5 stars.

I want to read more, all the couples are awesome!

I love the GiixHaru story, but the one with the president and the abnormal child is getting on my nerve, I want to know what will happend!

I didnt like it really. I wasnt keen on the idea of a sex school but it was actually OK since most of them just stick with the one they love. What I dislike is the difference between the seme and uke's looks. The seme are all drop dead gorgeous but the uke look like little kids. To make it worse, all the uke have very similar personality and past stories. Why do the uke just have to be a virgin and have sad reason to enter this school but does nobody cares about the seme? They are treating the uke like real girls. I couldnt get past volume 2

WOW, at first i thought this series was short, and very smut. So i didn't try to bother reading it. BUT i was so WRONG. It so good. and quite heart wrenching for some of the stories in there. I love it!! I regret not reading it before. No i wish this series will continue to be upload. biggrin

Ok, I have to say something because there has to be more wonderful reviews for this extremely hilarious and FUN manga! Let's start by saying I loved it from chapter 1 to onwards. There are so many couples with different stories and this reason alone kept my interest. Each chapter brought something new for me. I loved chapter 12 between the story of Gii and Haru, I cracked up smile Hmm, I actually loved all of the couples.

There is not an actual plot that follows one main couple but I don't find that as bad thing. This manga is for pure enjoyment and I think many will like it. Some of the negative comments talk about how the concept is disgusting, but this a mature yaoi and it's targeted toward audiences who like mature yaoi. Why are people even bringing up AIDS....this stories are not real but pure fantasy! They won't actually get AIDS! Why bring up something so serious, devastating and horrific to a manga whose author was intending to create a manga for fun. I don't think this FANTASY world should be taken so seriously!

Also,I felt nothing but love between the main couples. The whole point was that they loved their one and only partner.

Such great stories! I love every single one of the couples portrayed! They are each special in their own way. And the sex! Oh my!
The only reason I'm taking 0.5 points off is because many of them are basically prostitutes and that's something I've never liked. Plus, STDs.... I don't think I've ever seen them use protection yet it is something they are never worried about. Did they invent some sort of cure for AIDS in the future...?

Only the "rares" are supposed to be virgins. They are worth much more than a non-virgin. They are supposed to take care of their bodies and that's why they get expelled if they lose their virginity. You can be in the Pet Department and not be a "rare".

The first few couples were kind of cute since they were love stories and only partnered with each other in typical yaoi cliche fashion. The stories following that though... the "school" really started to sound like a brothel with the director acting like a pimp. The students are handed out to rich folk who they sleep with for money and even leaving the school, they can get called back by the director at any time. I mean, wth? If that doesn't sound like a brothel I don't know what does.

I also noticed they retconned the whole "pet maids being virgins until their masters sign their contract" thing, and how they would get expelled if they weren't virginal.The story with the chef had a student in the pet maid class who specialized in being an "absolute" which means he can handle having sex for up to 12 hours? How does he get to be a pet maid anymore?

And even worst, the director keeps talking about how if the students learn how to ~suffer~ through the treatment from their clients by the time they graduate they'll be able to handle the real world...

I mean, why bother having the setting be at a school that's supposedly here to train them for pleasure if the whole premise is going to be retconned after the first volume? The AV students don't make AV films. The pet maid students aren't kept pure until a master contract is signed. The abnormal class students don't do anything abnormal except occassionally using a bit of rope. The school isn't even a school since the students have no rights, they're sold into the school and then pimped out to clients for money and punished if they do things wrong. The pets don't even get to choose their masters and their contracts are absolute too.

I think I'd feel less vexed if the author had made the school an actual brothel, because then everything would make more sense.

This could as well be just put into a volume and be done with it.
The longest story is about three chapters all the others are new ones with other side characters we either have or haven´t seen before. A plot is non-existent and to be able to keep it that way throughout eleven volumes is really a great accomplishment. I liked about 1/5 of the stories I read in this collection some of them were quite interesting enough to keep me reading unfortunately though they were the ones that either had a very bad ending or none at all.
I guess it´s okay if you´re just looking for some hot male action. The art is passable. I would actually quite like it if it weren´t for the typical big-bad-seme and cute-small-uke depiction as well as the rather rushed background sequences. Also there are some things I just can´t get over with such as: Where are the condoms? But I guess if you´re okay with plot bunnies big enough they wouldn´t fit down wonderland´s rabbit hole go right ahead and enjoy the numerous sex scenes.
That´s about the only thing to find in there.

This was the series that made me read Umezawa Hana's other works of art! When I first began reading the story and saw that it was a school about sex, I had low expectations of it. But as I turned the pages, my love for the series grew, and grew, and grew.
I love all the couples and the way that even though this series has very detailed and steamy sex scenes, everyone seems to have some sort of background.
I've been hooked to this series for a while now, and I can honestly say that I anticipate every chapter that is to be released.

the uke all look like prepubescent children, unfortunately, or this could at least be hot, after 1.5 volumes i don't see where the plot is; the miniscule bits of information that get these kids to fall in love with their awesomely gorgeous seme don't qualify.

seriously, some examples -- plot for story 1: cute kid from poor family with medical bills catches the eye of powerful, gorgeous director of school, who decides to dismiss him from school and pay those bills so he can monopolize him. plot for story 2: poor, cute orphan with debts catches the eye of gorgeous host, who then buys his contract; second chapter: kid watches dvd that tells him he needs to switch up his behaviour to maintain the interest of his lover; kid then turns cold towards lover who gets his feelings hurt; they are separated for a few days and then fall back into each other's arms. plot for story 3: poor, cute kid kid was sold to the school by his ex-lover, catches the eye of gorgeous, long-haired host who happens to look just like that traitorous ex-lover. kid resists host's advances. 3 years pass (in the blink of an eye), host comes back to school as sensei, kid is also a sensei now, host finds out why he's been rejected, makes a grand gesture that supposedly proves he is different from ex-lover; kid falls into his arms. seriously -- this is pure PWP. and considering that this is supposed to be a school for training kids in sex, the sex is remarkably standard. the stories are too short for me to care about any of the characters, and i feel manipulated anyway because they're all depicted as such poor, pitiful boys, *sob*sob*sob*.

the art is pretty in a very BL way -- uke are cutesy with big eyes, seme are beautiful with dangerous eyes, but there's nothing particularly catching about the design, like interesting panel layout, or non-standard viewpoints. since the sex isn't hot for me, i don't care about the characters, and the romance doesn't feel real, i am not looking forward to reading the 3rd volume; nevermind 10+ (!!!) of them.

2 points for the art, 1 point for effort.
