Eh... not that great if you're used to reading shoujo from the 80s-90s

First things first; "female demographic with male lead". You guessed it, another doormat for women as a protagonist. My biggest beef with the manga is:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Dude's married exgf comes to freeload at his house (with her newborn child), burdening his financial/living situations. Obviously he's still madly in love with her. She's clearly not in love with him and he lets himself be manipulated because he's a masochistic shoujo guy I guess. Her husband also says some assholey stuff to him about "not letting you take my wife and child" (dude is dying of AIDs by the way). So basically doormat-kun is supporting another man's wife and child completely, and she is giving absolutely nothing back and treating him and his current gf like shit. And he just sits there and takes it like a female fantasy. PS: Her husband is also super rich and she's 100% in love with him.

Despite the supernatural-fantasy part (which is Rosmary -the duck housekeeper), this manga actually mainly story about Kevin and his adopted son... a real drama-psychological-slice of life.
Chara development in this manga is main part of story. The drawing is lovely.
I highly recommended this! biggrin

... to start reading "just one chapter" at midnight.
Yeah right. Several hours later, I still haven't finished what is available but Wow! what a series.
Thus, never start a series at midnight ... especially one with a talking duck.

Give it a try! You'll get hook immediately. Though the story sounds weird: a talking duck (hello?!)... the main focus is not the duck but the story behinds it

I gave this a try almost by chance, and I fell utterly in love with it at once! It's brilliant, a slice-of-life manga about a handsome novelist and his daily struggles...indeed interesting in itself. But that's just the beginning, since he stars to live with Rosemary - the duck housekeeper - who is really a awesome character (not to mention, a duck). I was glued to it. I recommend it to you all who want a good time reading a manga. Nice drawings, they remind me a bit of Kaguya hime's.
