Description
When the calender changed to the Seika era, the government of Japan introduced the Media Betterment Act (MBA). The MBA is an act that allows the government to stop any publication that it deems unsuitable for the public.

The same government that enacted the MBA then introduces another act, the Freedom of the Libraries Law (FLL). It allows libraries to become self governing bodies with defense force units. Under the FLL, The Library Defense Force is created.

Current Status by Sorahitou on June 30th, 2009, 3:05pm

I was browsing the japanese wiki and the publisher's website for any news on the shounen version of Toshokan Sensou (AKa Spitfire, love and war being the shoujo version).

Currently the artist for Spitfire has fallen ill and is taking the time off to recuperate before continuing spitfire.

'-' gonna be late wait mates.

See the anime by atomdreamer on January 18th, 2009, 12:12pm

Toshokan Sensou was first of all a light novel, then an anime, and then a manga, so I definitely recommend watching the anime first. That's where I first found the series, and I just went to manga afterward because I wanted more (the anime's only 13 episodes or something unfairly short like that). Anyway, I was kind of disappointed to see that the manga starts off basically as an identical retelling of the anime, but I'm still interested in seeing if there are any changes later on. My only question is, will this ever be updated? It seems like I've been waiting for a looooong time...

So go watch the anime - it's awesome.

Nice manga. by tsuto on July 14th, 2008, 7:48pm

Had read just the first chapter, but I think it's nice. The background where the story develops is quite well explained, the art is nice, and the story has potential.
