though there are some points where the story doesn't seem realistic at all,for example:
Spoiler (highlight to view) how could all the tenants of the apartment building all be involved? however, the plot is well thought out.it'll make you keep wanting for more each page.the way it the story is put gives you a very eerie and uncomfortable feeling, which in my opinion, makes it very one of a kind.as of the art,it's much better than 'passable'.definately beautiful gothic characters and their slim bodies are nice to look at.i like the toning of it as well. K no souretsu is probably one of those gothic mystery stories i truly enjoyed [despite the weird aura it emits O.o] i only have one question left...
Spoiler (highlight to view) what are morkwalls?
i think i've said enough..

It's hard to describe the story, but I would say that it gave off a dark, original, and mysterious vibe. The way the mangaka used only black and white was a very nice touch. What I especially enjoyed was the chapter when the tenants did their testimonials. It was very different and very interesting. However, I didn't give this story a perfect since the ending left me vaguely confused on who the killer really is. But I would give props on how the ending is done and the overall resolution of the story. I highly recommend people to read this.
Also this manga reminded me of the manga Goth for some reason...

The story and setting is certainly very intriguing and the art is very unique, but I don't really get the ending I didn't exactly like how the killer of K was revealed in the end. It'd have to be quite a stretch for Spoiler (highlight to view) all of the tenants to have been involved, albeit innocently, in moving around K's body one after another...I also don't get how the guy who had just moved in was the one who killed K, didn't he only move in after the funeral for K was held? Or maybe I've missed something when I read the manga . I didn't feel that the story was creepy in the slightest but I liked the author used the contrast between black and white in his illustrations.
And one more thing, can anyone explain to me what "morkwalls" are? I don't think it was ever revealed in the manga.

very good...a true classic...very well thought out plot and execution...it's bizarre, unconventional, dark, mature themed, unexpected ending, original (no cliches whatsoever), poetic (!!!), with very interesting art (at least for me). it feels like a crime graphic novel...i love the point where they're revealing step by step how K died....it gave me some nice giggles..plus i loved the way he used black and white backgrounds in some points...when something optimistic was being expressed the words were set against a white background...when darker thoughts arised, the background was black...keep an eye for it at some point in the story

If you're looking for a psychological thriller, look no further. The whole manga is like a puzzle, and keeps you guessing at who the killer is. The ending is the best part, and reveals things you'd never imagine.

It's like one of those dreams within dreams within dreams, where no matter how many times you wake up, you're still caught within a dream. It's one of those stories that kind of make you feel a little crazy at the end, pensive and just a little bit hopeless (the kind of hopelessness that horror stories gives you because they spell out the darker side of humanity). Kind of like Edgar Allan Poe's numerous short stories.
The art, the stark simple colors (black, white, sometimes red & tan), the way the drawings were arranged, everything was strangely poetic and a little bit haunting (however, not surprising considering it's one of Kusumoto Maki's work).
