amazing :D by Run on August 29th, 2009, 7:41pm

this series is amaaazing~~~....
While the first few volumes really don't have much plot, the underlying thing that might take up the loosest strings come together in the end... I think.
I can't wait to see how it ends.... *garblefoam* Like... what'll happen? What's going on?
What's HE doing here? > <
This theme actually opened my eyes to the world of movie making biggrin Without noticing it, I started finding DVD's specifically with the Special Effects Extras included, and looking into behind-the-scenes movie careers... they look so amazing... Even scary slasher movies with incredible realism aren't too scary anymore, but fascinating, because I'm too busy trying to figure out how they make things work... XD
I love this series... ===3===

This manga is just a blast to read. It really doesn't have a plot, but it's little story arcs/ oneshot stories are really fun. The characters are just a wee bit over the top, but it's ok cuase that just adds to the fun factor. I just can't wait to read another volume of this wacky manga! Over-all, this is just a fun, time waster manga xD

IIP Manga by NarutoDKurosaki on March 15th, 2009, 9:32pm

This is an "IIP" (Impossible is possible) manga (look it up in my profile under my dictionary for other terms that I use; not shameless advertising). I decided to redo this review btw.

The story is pretty simple. As a matter of fact there isn't a story. It's a series of one shot episodes that hopefully lead up to a climax. Personally, I found the manga's idea to be nice: a guy does make up for people and disguises them.

The art is actually not that bad. I smell Get Backers on it everywhere though. A Brock lookalike appears in this manga only he's buff and awesome. Kohei is a bit bishounen for my tastes.

All the characters do well with each other, but I still wonder what the hell happened to his employer. She all of a sudden...isn't there. The villians are obvious though and are so one sided that there is zero good or amount of pity in them. How many people want money? A shitload.

I have enjoyed this manga and despite only having four volumes, this manga is amazing. It has great art and some nice twists along with cliffhangers. I will update this if I change my mind, but I doubt it.

Pros:
- Great art.
- Amazing plot twists.

Cons:
- Everyone wants money.
- Poorly drawn boobs.

This manga is out now by Viz Media.

Great series by ajmanga on October 14th, 2008, 9:33pm

Didn't expect it but this series was awesome! It gives us a little insight on movie special effects techniques along with animatronics. It reminds me of Detective Conan in that it has several different stories, along with the underlying plot, clever twists and the cliffhanger endings that leaves me waiting for the next volume. It's not big on character development but instead focuses more on the action and drama, which kept me entertained. It also has its comedic moments and even a little ecchi. It's a bit mature, rated older teen, with a little nudity and violence. Overall a great series but more for serious readers who like the different, not-so-mainstream series.
