Description
When sato saw this stranger in the station, he couldnt take his eyes from him. So given the sign, he followed him, and that night also took one of his name cards.
But what was the reason that stranger agreed so easily? And how would he react when his one night stand would come to his work place to look for him the morning after?
High-school senior Hawegawa Saturo likes the looks of a man he sees in the train station and follows him, which leads to a one-night stand. Although there is no promise of a relationship, he grabs 23-year old Kubata Hiroki's business card, as a sort of good-luck charm... More...

I read the prior reviews and there were so many comments of this being sad that I kept expecting someone to die - thankfully that didn't happen.
It was a slow moving story, but I knew that going into it. My only complaint is that I felt that it ended abruptly. I believe I read the full scanlation, so it surprised me when I clicked the last page and that was it. I guess the issues were resolved (their feelings for each other), but it was a very abrupt ending.
I also liked the art. It was very simple, but clean (I can't stand cluttered artwork).
I recommend it, but do realize that it is slow paced and it is shonen ai so if you're looking for action, you won't find it here.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
it was very sweet and real, but it is disturbing how Hiroki would get drunk and allow his ex to take him home, he could have cheated on his partner very easily that night. why would he place himself in that position? it makes me wonder if he will really be faithful to his partner... plus, the ex was such a complete jerk, Hirokis boyfriend should have beat the...outta him.... i was also mad when Hiroki saw how devastated sato comes to his house and he believes his boyfriend has just cheated, and Hiroki just stands there like a moron, he should have been yelling for him to stay and then beat up his ex for meddling in his relationship...

So sad, but so real. I like how this mangaka really takes his/her time building up the relationships and characters. By the end, it builds up such an emotional punch, I cried at the end (and I've also read it twice). Haruno-sensei could have veered off into a stereotypical storyline so many times, but the fact that she made her characters very real makes the story that much better. The bit of blackmail in the beginning turned me off initially, but don't let it fool you. There's more to the characters than what shows in the beginning, and you'd be missing a wonderfully emotional story if you did!

To me, the beginning was a bit boring, but the story got better as it went along. I must say that Hiroki might be one of the most unhappy and cold people I've read in a shonen-ai (I'm not sure if this is really yaoi) yet. Sato is a saint for staying by his side. But the whole atmosphere of the manga is kind of on the sad side. There's so much unrequited love, and even in the main relationship it takes all the way to the end of the second volume for a real feeling of love on both sides to build up. I'm not really sure if what I read was even the ending or not... it just kind of stopped. The person I felt the worst for was Sasaki... poor guy. I wish there had been more in the story dealing with him. But overall it was a manga worth reading.
