Just like grumble cakes says, this is the first time I have ever encounter a full volume BL manga that is told from the third person's perspective who is not the main couple. It is quite interesting to read this considering its different from other BL manga. I like this manga however I wished it had been longer so that Fujimiya's new relationship can be more develop and not so tack on. Overall this manga is recommended.

Middle Ground for Nishimura-Sensei's Works
Rating: 7.0 / 10.0

I had a bit of trouble following the story; but nothing like Darling in a Textbook. The story was okay--not riveting my interest and causing me to read slowly or repetitively--but enough of my interest was held to finish the story.

The art was clear and full of action, but Nishimura-sensei's has works that are outstanding. To me, this one fell at mediocre.

This is the first time I've read a BL story that is told from the perspective of the person who is NOT half of the main couple. This create a nice, if a little sad, bittersweet atmosphere. Fujimiya has complicated feelings towards Yuuki his rival and Shuuta, the sweet and likable guy he is supposed to take care of, but this is not a love triangle like it may sound. The fourth chapter seems tacked on as an attempt to give everyone a happy ending but I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me happy.
oh- and the oneshot is pretty darn cute. Recommended!
