Description
From Condensation:
Momo Yamada wanted to be a flower when she grew up, but she's blossomed into nothing more than a rather homely teenager. When her grandmother passes away, Momo becomes a live-in maid for the two sons of an elegant fashion designer. After the eccentric eldest son, Ranmaru, gives Momo the makeover of her life, she discovers that her mother was the legendary Hanabito, a beautiful woman who has a divinely intoxicating scent that draws men to her like bees to nectar. What's more, Momo learns that she, too, gives off that same irresistible aroma. Although she and Ranmaru have fallen in love, their relationship must now withstand constant assault from handsome boys and men who desire to abduct and seduce Momo.

Meh. by Axlish on December 21st, 2008, 6:25am

It's a constant cycle of the main girl being kidnapped by a new pretty boy. I keep reading because I want to know what happens, but it really annoys me to do so.

Yeh, this was so annoying... by ZL11 on December 14th, 2008, 4:13am

It's like a pretext to have the heroine get kidnapped and dressed by all these rich and beautiful guys, and then... NEAR RAPE. The worst thing is that this apparently goes on for 10 VOLUMES, and when I heard that, I was like, "HUH? How could this go on for 10 VOLUMES?!"
Spoiler (highlight to view) Especially, how can it go on for 10 volumes and no one has sex with her, when she's left alone with these men after being kidnapped and is always forcibly kissed and fondled... this is ridiculous. It... Just... Makes... One... ANGRY and want to slap her...!! BLAH!!! Don't bother with this plotless wonder!

L a m e storyline i can't believe that I for a second thought that this was going anywhere its just one big harem-fest with clothes pulling, attempted sexual assaults by a bunch of bishies who suddenly turn crazy with lust for a gal they've met for 3 secs -_-" Continually worst than love monster's worst bits.

I thought it would be interesting, that the heroine would at least have some guts, but I was terrible wrong. The first chapter was relatively interesting, but after continuing on for about five chapters I could read no longer. I hate the "damsel in distress" played every single chapter, her constant crying...the heroine is desperate, dependent, stupid, pathetic, and weak beyond disbelief. If you're reading for the art, go for it. If you're reading for the plot...I wouldn't recommend this.

amazing art, but... by emihneleh on September 24th, 2008, 1:23am

amazing art, but i'm getting pretty weary of the constant maiden in distress and masses of men try to take advantage of her. but the art is so well drawn and the plot not too bad that i will stick to it. recommended for very light reading.

Stale plot by DB2020 on March 7th, 2008, 5:32am

I definitely thought I would be in for a great read since I enjoyed Love Monster so much. This was a huge disappointment. The artwork is beautiful, but the storyline unreadable. Momo is beyond despondent and helpless as a heroine. Every cliché is milked dry over and over again, beating the reader over the head with the redundant damsel in distress scenario. Seriously, just how often can one girl be randomly kidnapped in front of attentive spectators, chased down by her beloved, only to have this cycle repeat? There is no pretext for these poorly contrived conflicts in the plot. One frame of well-drawn artwork jumps to the next, and suddenly someone else has snatched the leading female away. I began to wonder if the mangaka had a ‘knight in shining armor’ complex, where each chapter needed to have the damsel and knight dynamic. I tried filtering such a ridiculous plot through the main premise that Momo’s scent has an unnatural allure, but it just didn’t work. I remain hopeful for Miyagi Riko’s future works, since she obviously has talent, but Hana ni Nare is a flop in my opinion.

I could only read up to chapter 3, because it couldnt keep my interest. Actually I wanted to quit after chapter 1, but I decided to give it a chance... Now i regret that... The main heroine is that kind of girls i just cant stand, and I didnt really get the story. Artwork was good though.
