The first two volumes are GREAT

This shoujo comedy is honestly wacky, weird and fun. (What would you expect with a title as wacky as President Dad) It tries to downplay its wackiness, but that only makes it more strange, and more interesting! I would consider it similar to Nari Kusakawa's works such as Palette of 12 Secret Colors or Recipe for Gertrude, so if you like those series this is a must...

I haven't read the other volumes, so I can't comment about the apparent dip in quality... but the first two volumes are fantastic if you happen to like comics like this!

You have to read it all to know

It's hard to judge the story if not reading it completely, because the plot is indeed very confusing at first. But as you're reading, you find yourself more into it. And the twist, the flow get better and better as the story going. You'll find it pretty interesting how the author uses characters from folktale like Cinderella or Snow White and etc to create her characters.

The end was, actually, very nice, a bit of sadness but calming, and left deep impression in me. I recommend it when you have time and a calm mind and feel all relaxed.

This manga had a really confusing story plot... from the first books onward, I had absolutely no idea what was going on. The art's decent, I suppose, but all in all, it wasn't really worth the time spent reading it.

Illogically nonsensical

The drawing: bad, the plot: bad, the character: worse.

I don't know why I followed through this series. And yes, it proved me all right by the end of it. Just another pass-by comic like. And it had nothing to do with the title. Hell, I wasted 3 hours/7volumes just to find out it sucks!

Read the first two volumes

I read the first two volumes in my library but haven't found the rest of the series. It's too bad that it's apparently not worth my while. President Dad seemed pretty much like a gag manga. It swung jarringly from high humor to high drama in a way that felt parodical and hilarious. The art isn't fantastic, but it's nice. By the end of the second novel it was obvious the author wasn't planning at all and was just drawing whatever she felt like, but it was funny and that was what was important. So read the first two volumes. It's good. Then stop.

alright, whoever calls this one light and fluffy doesn't know what they're talking about (neither did the author). it had such a horrible ending that i wouldn't wish this one on anybody's shelf...

Not as promising as it looks

I found myself with a lot of time on my hands and started reading this. The beginning was very nice. Lots of comical moments. Decent artwork. The daughter of the president of Korea and how she lives. It was decent until the middle of the story. The plot seemed to get worse. Everything was very unrealisitc as the story came to an ending. I did not like the ending at all. If you lots of time of your hands, sure, it won't kill you.

Crappy and Dumb

If I was going to write a review on the first 2 volumes of this story, I'd have written something about how its silly, but fun, and it shows promise. After reading all 7 volumes of the story, all I can say is, stupid, and moronic. From volume 2, the story veers into rank stupidity, with a completely ludicrous plot that is virtually nonsensical. Aliens, conspiracies, none of which are believable or make any sense. Give this one a pass.
