Pretty okay for a quick read

Nothing too profound or excessive, this story is quite all right within its own. There's not too much development imo, and the transitions do feel a bit clumsy at times, however until the end of the story, its spirit did manage to come through successfully as rather sweet and likeable. The characters' raw emotions were also portrayed well, perhaps partly because of the art. I guess I do actually like this to an extent.

In the beginning I wasn't that much interested in what was going on. Truth be told, I don't know if it was the art style that wasn't to my liking, the characters that seemed out-loud flat or the plot that I was more or less predicting. I thought I was ready to put it down any time but for some reason couldn't bring myself to do it. When I was done with the second chapter, I genuinely wanted to know what was in store next. Of course it's not a flawless manga. There was something about the pacing that ticked me off a little, but the uneasy feeling I had while in the beginning vanished soon enough. I really liked the main character, Inami I think, and the end was so warm and beautiful in its simplicity it got me smiling the whole time. It's definitely not your average BL tale, with the cheering atmosphere and the stud of the century every one pretty much worships (including the stupid uke), but that makes it even better in my book. A good reading to pass the time and enjoy every once in a while, I guess.

Wow. Just wow. I'm amazed, how such a seemingly simple story can have so much depth and be so touching. The art was gorgeous. The way the shading added to the feel of the frame was great! I definitely recommend this one, you must read it!

2 lonely people licking each other's wounds and end up together..

the only bad thing: it was a short story. other than that, it had all the good traits of a good yaoi manga: there was romance, angst, a bit of a mystery (regarding who would end up with who), a nice story in general. i recommend it!

Simple and Sweet

The artwork at first glance made this an obvious moody, broody and nostalgic manga choice to read, and I was prepare for all of that. The story is even more so than I thought in the first chapter. It seems so depressing and dark, especially with the author's intent of making the atmosphere seem so depressive at first glance that I wasn't sure that I would make it. I was expecting some sort of murderer to pop out of nowhere and start killing, which did NOT happen. However, after getting passed the first chapter, it sort of starts to lightened up, and then, the ending was so sweet, it had me smiling. It's beautiful in its simplicity. I enjoy it, although I know others might not.

Take a chance and read this if you have the time to do so.

Nearly Perfect

Many mangaka are tempted to create a story full of emotion, but many usually fail in their attempts. For a story of only three chapters, Fujunna Renai seems to accomplish that without any effort.
A lot of 'Drama' yaoi start getting ahead of themselves. So much so that you feel like you're being fed (or expected to feel) the emotions that the mangaka wants you to feel. In this series, Asou manages to completely draw you into the world of her protagonist without the feeling of being forced or strained.
There are some flaws, of course. Asou's artistic style has some improvements to make. But overall, her style completely matches her storytelling abilities. The only complaint I'd personally make about it is the lack of... Well. If you're a true yaoi fangirl, you'll understand. bigrazz

Can't wait to see more from this wonderful new mangaka.

This story is awesome... confusion, yearning, loneliness, despair, hope, relief, happiness... it evokes all the right emotions for a satisfying, sweet romance. And, for a story its size (3 chapters only), I think it's as close to perfection as possible.

(Read it ^.^ )
