Adorable artwork, nice idea... but lacking something.

I love Kazuko Furumiya's shoujo. It's so cute, funny and silly... all rolled into one great reading experience. I was so excited to see her take on a shoujo Alice in Wonderland. The artwork is adorable, as always, but... something seems to be missing for me.

It just feels like the story telling isn't as cohesive or complete as her stories usually are. It kept feeling like I'd missed something somewhere. Characters weren't thoroughly introduced or explained enough to really make me feel any connection with them. The ending, I felt, left things unanswered and unresolved... and, really, I didn't care much for the heroine. Which is odd, because I usually love Furumiya's heroines, no matter how silly they may be.

That's not to say it's bad, of course. It just isn't as good as this mangaka's other works... and not as good as I was hoping for. But still good! Definitely good and worth a read smile

Cute, Fluffy And Sweet...

Like any good shoujo manga, this one has artwork that's mainly cute, fluffy and sweet. But if you expect the typical romance shoujo, then you're wrong. The main protagonist, Alice, isn't even a stereotype of typical shoujo characters. She's considered annoying and mostly blurts out exactly the opposite of what she should be saying. People tend to have a negative opinion of her and the fact that she's a millionaire's daughter doesn't help.
Still, the reader doesn't get irritatingly annoyed by her like other tsundere characters before. Alice's true side is shown and the mangaka does it in a meaningful way.
The artwork is as many users already said, cute and gorgeous and the storyline is presented well. Don't get mistaken the plot stands for some uber fluffy yet meaningless storyline. It's actually a bit mature, but well handled by the mangaka.

I'm surprised that this has no Description, so I added one ^_^
I think that this manga is cute, I can't really comment on the plot and character development YET since I have only read on chapter. But the story seems fast, and cute
