Kind of Mediocre

This was a mediocre volume. The premise was interesting, but it didn't really leave much of an impression. It's kind of disappointing to me, because I'd previously read a one-shot by this mangaka and really liked it. I also really enjoyed "You're So Mean" by this mangaka. In contrast, this story just wasn't that memorable or even that interesting. I thought the heroine was too much of a pushover and the male lead was too much of a jerk for absolutely no reason. The fathers of the two were kind of funny, though. I wouldn't say I wasted my time reading this, but I wouldn't say I'd necessarily recommend it, either. There's plenty of better shoujo out there!
The one-shot "Kiss on a Snowflake" wasn't good at all. The art was fine, but the story was so disjointed that at times I wondered if pages were out of order. It seemed like the mangaka was showing all the wrong things instead of focusing on the important aspects of a romance. We saw that the couple was growing closer, but we were never shown WHY. The ending makes little sense. For that matter, the rest of the story doesn't make any more sense. What was the motivation behind the secrecy? Where were these overbearing parents we're supposed to believe she has? They don't seem to notice/care that she's disappeared for weeks, so why would they care about her choice in schools? In all, the one-shot is definitely not worth reading.

There was not point. The drawing was bad...It ticks me off.
Don't waste your time.
I don't know...the author's attempt to make it a tiny smutty (sharing same house) and the cold front of the lead male didn't work. Instead they annoy the heck out of me.
Plus the main girl! Ughhhhh!!!!
