Aoi Nagisa is a new transfer student to St. Miatre, one of three all-girl academies on Astraea Hill. She finds herself lost on the first day, and runs into Hanazono Shizuma, a beautiful and highly respected senior among the students. Shizuma kindly offers her help, while Nagisa is stunned into silence by her beauty. This is the beginning of a highly enjoyable and romantic shoujo-ai story, with many colorful characters adding spice to the story with their adorable antics.

Cute, fluffy yuri manga

Cute, fluffy, lesbian manga. Accessible and silly and adorable, with a happy ending. It might sound silly and lacking in depth, but knowing that this sort of fluff exists nowadays makes my heart soar. I wish I'd had access to happy lesbian stories as a teenager struggling against my own sexuality. It's a light read, but that is what makes it so wonderful.

I've noticed recently that I am much much picky regarding yuri & shoujo ai than I am regarding yaoi.
And this, here, is NOT an interesting shoujo-ai imo. No offense, fans.

Plot not so great, too much useless drama. I watched the anime only, and I think the anime factor didn't help. (I usually never WATCH Yaoi/Yuri, I only READ) I found the main character incredibly annoying, and I just couldn't feel it click.
So yeah, I'm gonna stand my ground. Mature Yuri >>>> Shoujo-ai in the huge majority of cases.

Okay, so am I the only one creeped out by the dynamic between Nagisa and Shizuma? I didn't actually get very far before I had to stop reading because it bothered me so much; like, Shizuma pushed a lot and Nagisa didn't seem to be on board, at least at first. I think that's pretty damn creepy, even if eventually Nagisa begins to return Shizuma's affections.

This series is actually very good. I got real bored from about episodes 3-11, but then it gets really kawaii and interesting. One of the great things about this anime is it's sence of realism. I mean you feel like the couples are actually there and all the stuff is happening because it all really could happen. (as apposed to like DBZ) Go watch this series it's great especially for a yuri fan. I know plenty of straight girls who love this series.

I wouldn't compare Marimite and Srawberry Panic. Thay are close to similar in idea, but they're not the same.
I like the SP anime and manga.

I watched the anime, read some of the manga too. It was really good actually. There were lots of touching moments and scenes of a woman dominating another woman. It was unusual but interesting to see that happen. I think this is my favorite shoujo-ai anime/manga.
