I couldn't see any redeeming qualities in this oneshot. The threesome is not the problem, nor the incest, nor is it really the rape, as some yaoi just can't seem to do without it. The problem is that this is a guy who was sexually abused by his brother since he was a child, and seeing that, I don't care who Shou ends up with or whether it's love or not. And yes, I know things like this are common in yaoi, but it doesn't mean I have to enjoy it. There are other stories where the forced incest trope is used more skillfully and with more ambivalence, but in this oneshot the case was way too clear for me: the brother needs to go jail, BOTH brothers need therapy, and that childhood friend seriously needs to think about his concept of love. Another form of love, my butt.

I have to say that I usually like the mangaka's works, though.

For some reason, as propostrous as this storyline may be, i didn't particularly dislike it. Even though this was only a oneshot, i felt it had the right essence to it and that it didn't leave me any questions to ask. The story was complete and that was all to it and i guess my acceptence of this came from my acceptance of polygamous relationships in general. I do beleive that people can love more than one person equally and so this relationship did not irke me.
What really stopped me from hating this manga, is that in the end everyone had a partner and no one was left out because i always tend to feel sorry for the ones who are left behind.
Also, it was rather interesting that the parents were fairly normal people since stories that i have read similiar to this (brother rape) normally had a warped past, or their parents were dead and so to have a happy, functioning child being a complete sadist/rapist was interesting. It would have been good if the mangaka had delved deeper into the rapist brothers emotions to almost offer a justification to the obsession he had and for the reader to understand why he loved the brother so.

I'm not quite sure what to say about this series. I wish that the series was longer as well, just because there are so many unanswered questions. What happened after the threesome? Who will Shou be with? None of those questions were answered. I honestly thought the series was a bit twisted in a way, maybe it's just me, but after (if) you read it, you'll probably have opinions of your own about it. I'm not sure if I would recommend it, but to me, this story isn't at the top of my list.

There is something tragically gripping about this oneshot, it definitely should have been longer. i cant help wondering if these three guys will go on being together. They both love Shou so much, although one of them loves him a bit too much... i couldnt help liking it, but there might be some that won't, because of the rape elements, and because there is a threesome as the description says...
