It was good, I like the mystery factor and the color pages look really nice. But the ending was not even an ending at all. So many unanswered questions... who was Vecchio? Who is really Veppo/Beppo? What happened to that painting? I think the series probably got deserialized unexpectedly and a final chapter was never actually drawn.

The best part is the location, Venice. As a Venice-born girl, I can assure you the author did a nice work in recreating the building and the charm of the place. There is some fanservice here and there, but it's ok. I would have preferred a bit more of character insight, hence the story to be a tad longer.
Traslation note: the name of the guy is not 'Veppo', is 'Beppo'. Actually, the correct form should be 'Bepo', Venetian short for 'Giuseppe' (Joseph) ;).
