I've only read the first story to Ame Ni Niteiru nearly a decade ago, and it is still pretty much embedded in my mind to this day. A true, beautiful gem we have here. Even though you can hardly see a kiss - or in other words, it's a rather soft BL - I don't recommend it to soft hearts. It's both painfully beautiful and beautifully painful, but certainly deserves more attention than that which it has been given.

Spoiler (highlight to view) the first story is touching me deeply. it's sweet love story between three of them. i love the attitude of the girl (i forget her name) when she knew that her childhood friend loves a guy. and boys, they are so lovely, i do, i do really want them together. i really love this kind of story. i love watanabe's sensei mangas so much the second story is sweet and funny. i love the girl's family and i love the girl's personality too. she's unusual shoujo character i've ever read. i love that kind of girl who not dumb-annoying-but cute girl. but the boy is childish, yea, it suits his age. and i want to know their next relationship.

it was beautifully done. quite touching... the story of two boys completely different from each other, yet they found that special something in one another. it broke my heart reading this, yet, in some twisted way i actually see this happening in real life. gorgeous art, believable and sweet plot. definitely a recommendation!
