4 Volumes (Complete)

It really depends though, this manga won't make everyone laugh but for some, it might. If you are one to easily laugh, then this is definitely a manga for you. So, give it a chance before thinking that it is NOT funny.
Personally, I did laugh, loudly in fact.
The first few chapters were indeed plot-less. And I repeat no plot. It was all a bunch of gags that were kinda forced. Funny nevertheless for someone like me who enjoys stupid humor. It started off like something that one would drop immediately. BUT, give it a chance, it gets better as the person before me said. In the recent chapters, I see a plot emerging. it is changing from a humor centered manga to a humorous love story... This is definitely something that is for the better.
Overall to sum everything. Good manga, funny to some but not all and, starting to develop for the better. Enjoyable and I really can't wait for the next chapter to be released
At first I thought it was just a way to shoehorn an otaku in everywhere. There's been so many otaku characters. But I made the mistake of thinking that this otaku would be some hikkimori or some lolicon. He's pretty darn normal.
Basically the premise is that a normal anime fan that was also kinda geeky ends up known as the toughest delinquent in impossible gag manga fashion. It's a funny read but if I was just rating the first chapter, it'd have been a 6, but each chapter got better and it builds. Also, while there's a formula, it isn't the same gag. The situations are varied.
It's just crazy fun, and if you like those frantic comedy manga's, then you'll like this. I liked where this is going but apparently it's only four volumes and that's disheartening. Hopefully it'll have a satisfying ending.
I appreciate a good gag manga and the setup for this one really appealed to me. Unfortunately after just a few chapters I was already sick of it. The jokes feel really forced. They are crude, the situations are not even remotely plausible (I realize it's a gag manga, but still...), and the characters are dull. There is nothing here that makes we want to go back for more.
I really love this manga, but sadly there are only 2 chapters out yet. It would be really awesome if someone can pick it up.
It's really great.
one thing to say.... his hairdo is awesome... especially when its in fire in chapter 2.... and that ka rui no rei is funny as hell... would b awesome if somegroup start workin on the manga... since only 2 chapters so far... and the chapter 2 is like 2 months ago
ps. also... forgot to add... that whole scene when the story started where the two dude's speech were interrupted by each another would be awesome if it were made into an animated version....
I have high hopes about this manga. I'll stick with it for a few more chapters, since I am a sucker for characters like Mitarashi Dango. Perhaps the humor is weak at the moment, but I think once the characters get properly introduced, this might be a excellent manga. Alas, it's too soon to know. I'll give it a proper rating once we get to see more chapters.
If you're bored and looking for some humor with some (possibly recycled) jokes and plot, then give this a shot. Otherwise, pass on this and look for something better.
I personally found the humor weak. I do love the humor of a lot of manga that are popular for their humor... but this one never made me crack a smile. So I don't know why others find it funny and I don't. Some of the jokes interested me (like the "deus ex machina" jokes aimed at WSJ itself)... but most others just made me blink. However... other people who read this series seem to like the humor, so you may like it, too. I don't really know.
But the story (and characters) itself is completely un-extraordinary; I've read two chapters of this and I'm done, since I don't care about the characters and there's no real plot.
