In the year 300X, a cruel dictator has mandated the hunting of all hair in the Maruhage Empire. But a single man rises to the occasion and takes a stand against this violation of human hair rights. Bo-bobo, master of Fist of the Nose Hair, uses the prehensile hairs of his schnoz to most lethal ends. Follow the nonsensical adventures of Bo-bobo and his sentient sidekick snacks as they lead their hilarious rebellion against the Empire.
The first chapter might put you off a bit, since the drawings are pretty ugly and the nose hair thing is repulsive, but if you stick with it just a bit, you'll see why many people absolutely love this Manga.
The manga seems to essentially follow the typical shonen route, with fights, evil villains, pretty girl side kicks, etc. - all the stuff you find in your generic boy adventures, except everything is turned upside down.
In particular, it is very interesting to see some of the focus on manzai (a Japanese form of comedy), which is surprisingly well suited for combat in manga parody form. Seriously: the wins from comedic super powers don't seem any less believable that what you get from Bleach or whatever, but the extra layers on top with all the comedic and absurd tangents make bobobo a real gem.
Bobobo is easy to read, but rich in detail and thought.

I watched some episodes of the anime of this title bobobo bo bo bobobo, but I couldn’t complete it because I get a headache from its stupidest, randomness and changing of the topic every while.
just the worst jokes (no offense ) not for me .but must say it has good characters but has the stupidest jokes .just simply say hate it!!!!!!!!!! no offense ^^ it just my opinion
Well, when I used to receive Shonen Jump, they ran like a 2 chapter promo of Bo-bo-etc., and it was hilarious. Seriously, it was like the funniest thing I had read in a while. But the first few volumes that have been scanlated have been mediocre at best. I dont know if that's becuase Shonen Jump added their own American humor into Bo-bo or something, but...iono,...the scanlated Bo-bo doesnt measure up to teh Shonen one
Funny as the anime, and just as messed up. When this was being thought up, I can almost say for a fact, Drugs were involved. If u wanna laugh and get away from the norm. this is for YOU. READ or Be Shaved Bald
