Sadly enough, it's another one of Setona's work that absolutely annoys me. This is definitely one of her earlier works. Most of them portrays girls who are loud and annoying. Her later works seems to be much more mature and frown upon these characters. The first two volumes were actually interesting but the last volume just completely ruined it.

I'm normally a fan of Setona Mizushiro, but something about this manga left it lacking. I can't quite put my finger on what it was that made this manga disappointing - perhaps it was because of the extent to which the main guy remained underdeveloped throughout the story. To me, he was characterised as being too aloof and removed to the point where even now I have a hard time recalling his family background and motivations. As a result, the central romance felt forced. On the other hand, I very much enjoyed the manga when the story was focused on the other room mates of the mansion - the cross-dressing dancer and erotic novelist - both of whom had me in stitches at times. Oh how I wish one of them could have been the main male character - even the girl's childhood friend would have been better.

its somewhat like your typical shoujo manga with a few absurdities (mostly caused by the character "flaws")
characters: in my opinion being flawed is a good thing, but there is a lack of character development to support it
artwork: i'm not a big fan of this style, but it has its moments
story: concept is interesting, but once again there is a lack or development and detail (especially in supporting characters)
overall: its an okay read, with a few laughs, and a few "aww"s--romantic development is also minimal... ... characters are nice =]
