Short and sweet

It's a fairly decent shoujo manga. Short and sweet just about sums it up. There's character development between the two main girls, Asahi and Umi and I didn't find any character annoying, which is a plus.

I also like how realistic it is, when Umi and Asahi and their team lost. I mean, it would have been funner if they magically won against a top school, but they didn't so that was an added plus to the story.
As for romance, there's just a small touch of it. You can feel that it's obvious who is going to be with who, but badminton is the main focus and I enjoyed reading this story. The artwork is typical big-eye, cute manga style, so it's fairly easy to read. Asahi doesn't become the blushing girl-in-love, which is nice and refreshing. Although the ending was abrupt, you can get the gist of what was going to happen to the main characters so it didn't leave me questioning much.... Last updated on January 6th, 2012, 8:52am

I ended the series feeling somewhat indifferent. I did like the overall concept of the manga though, particularly because it can be applied to many different things so is pretty inspiring/relatable. Throughout the story I parallelled Asahi and badminton with me and my trumpet.

I surprised but I actually really enjoyed this. The artwork is good (avergae shoujo) and the story may revolve around sports but it's almost like you forget that; the plot has clever additions and the entire story is rather unique.
My problem with this is it starts getting very, very good and it just ENDS. Some short series cram everything into two volumes or less, but it seemed like this was going to be longer and the mangaka no longer felt like it.
Non-the-less, an excellent read.

I really like the artwork, which is awesome and very shoujo. The plot is kind of weird, since the little witch is so bad at witchcraft she hardly qualifies to be one; that and the dangers that the main character is facing already. It's a good manga; personally, because I love badminton as a sport, but the plot line is a little overdone if you took out the incorporation of badminton... unless it comes out as a sporty, badminton-competition with romance manga. That would be great. =]

Based on chapter 1 just yet, I can't really give a rating for it since there's not much to know about it.
The artwork is cute, shoujo-esque if you must, and decent. What worries me is the plot, which will probably turn into some mushy, romance (probably a love triangle, just to add conflict to the story) situation while using badminton as a cover.
If that's the case, I'd rather have the mangaka strip away everything sporty in this title and focus with the romance instead.
