The art is more old style (I mean the manga's from 1988 =.=) and it's not the typical shoujo really. I think I'm a bit of a sucker for a series of short stories that seem to have some insight on humanity (like Petshop or Yumekui Kenbun or something), and that's what Death, the Maiden and I is.
We follow Yukari as she interacts with the deceased. The stories are quite touching.
