Saeki Fumio is a genius who earned a PhD at the age of fourteen. When she goes back to Japan to announce her invention, a bunny robot endowed with artificial intelligence called Alice, it turns out that someone is trying to steal Alice. With the help of Hikaru, a personal bodyguard that she hired, will Fumio be able to keep Alice safe and sound?

Dr. Rabbit is a sweet story with a simple but fairly interesting basis, and Ogura Akane's art is clean and easy on the eyes. Fumio is a girl-genius who invented the adorable bunny robot, Alice, but knows nothing about human interaction despite her intelligence; something that changes due to the kindness shown by her hired bodyguard. It's cute and touching, and can easily be extended to at least a one-volume manga. Romance fans shouldn't be fooled by the "romance" tag, though - the developments between Fumio and Hikaru clearly mark the beginning of a lovely friendship, but romance remains only a possibility if the story was extended.

Manage to arouse my interest from the description above. It was a fairly interesting read, which was new, but predictable. It was quite fast paced- would be better if it was extended to a volume. it was so cute really!!! it was also funny...theres friendship and all te usull fluff- stuff...butits sweet!!! theres also a hint of romnace!!! I WANT A SEQUEL!!!

One smart girl, her bunny and a guy. A very nice story. It deals with friendship, and maybe there can be a follow-up with some romance. The art is beautiful and sharp, and the main girl is not your usual "idiot".

A cute oneshot by Ogura Akane. The drawings are similar to her others works (eg, Mademoiselle Butterfly, Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen) -- sharp, clean, neat. The story is actually quite simple (can't be anymore complex for a oneshot, eh?). And the rabbit is absolutely adorable! Can't say that it's 100% romance, as it is more shoujo (girly) and centers more on friendship.
