Description
What if the Meiji Restoration never happened? Bakufu still holds sway, the class system has never been abolished, and there is no westernization. The story is set in modern-era Edo, which had never been renamed to Tokyo, where people go to Kabuki for entertainment and hang out at pancake house. It centers around Sobi, the sister of an Edo magistrate who goes to school with Michisato, who prefers to be called Michel, the eccentric son of the ruling Tokugawa clan's Mito family.

Being a fan of Tsuda-sensei's works I read the scanlation but it turned out to be a disappointment. The story and the dialog felt disjointed and I could not understand the story at all. In short, the chapter was a mess. Fortunately this series was then published in my country and so, still hoping that other chapters might turn out good, I bought it. Turned out that it was all due to the translation!! The published version has an excellent translation and so I could enjoy it fully. Bottom line: it is soo much better than the available scanlations could show.
I'm so sad that no one is scanlating the manga. I wanna read mooarr tsuda masami! TT__TT I want to read something good like kare kano! it's like reaching nirvana and losing it LOL I hope a good scanlation team will pick this manga soon.
Sadly, there is only one chapter scanlated and I want to read more from it.
Tsuda's drawings are so good, if you compare them to Kare Kano. And I like that the story takes part in the edo-era.
