Mai's dream was to be a soccer player and go to the World Cup, but being due to being unable to play anymore, that dream has now been entrusted to her childhood friend Harumi.
1 Volume (Complete)

This one is short, too short that I felt like reading a one-shot manga about a guy who decided to play football as a part of his promise to his childhood friend. Tho it's short, but it was really romantic. I wished the manga to be longer than it was. Exploring the football part would be good but I think it's already done by many manga before. What I wanted more is I wished to see this childhood friend romance.
Overall the major flaw with this manga is it feels incredibly short and rushed. It seems almost like it would have expected 1 or 2 more volumes minimum in the first few chapters, but instead receives a "rush-job" ending in the last few.
Overall, the "arcs" within this manga are covered, but minimally at that, and overall plot seems to be girl quits soccer, boy joins soccer, ..., END
And that ... covers more time than the rest of the manga combined.
Character development is low, most characters are not really memorable, and virtually no detail is given about difference tactics within the game.
