Description
Bi-Kwang is a handsome young warrior who becomes a drooling mess whenever he sees a pretty girl. Out on the road he meets an extraordinary swordfighter with no name who is searching for a legendary master warrior. Bi-Kwang promises to aid the swordfighter if he lets Bi-Kwang meet his beautiful sister. Of course, it turns out the swordfighter is the sister, Hwa-Rin Dahm, and she must switch identities to keep the plot moving along. Bi-Kwang is immediately smitten, and thus we have a triangle involving only two people.

Great series
Rating: 10.0 / 10.0

My reviews usually focus on the negatives, but this doesn't mean my impression of the series is bad.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
This manhwa has its fair share of cliches and lame twists. Battles tend to drag on too long. The MC almost always ends his battles unconscious, having suffered massive internal and external damage. The doctor is always amazed that he isn't dead. He always recovers within days, further surprising people. OFC, there is a reason for the quick recovery, but the repetition gets to me.

The romance is not really romance for most of the series. It is a one-sided crush at first, which can't be taken seriously because the guy with the crush chases every skirt that crosses his path. All romantic development occurs via battles, the results of the battles being as mentioned above. Well, in time this changes and we get more heart-warming scenes that dissolve the bland memories of earlier chapters.

Some characters seem to get introduced just in time to play a major role. It might take a while for the reader to realize a certain dude is not just a side character who would disappear in a few chapters. And they all have back-stories, so do their grandmothers and the grandmothers' pets. This isn't a bad thing by itself, but some readers might be irritated by this in SOME instances.

Enough about the negatives, which might not even be issues to many readers. Overall this series deserves a rating of at least 8, IMO. This is a series which you can read while rooting for a pair or two, looking forward to the development of the MC as well as some other characters, curious about what direction the story will take next, and impatient for revelations about certain mysteries. Basically, it has the necessary elements required to keep readers hooked.

Truly a fantastic Manhwa. The action, comedy, and most surprising of all, the romance that is rich and forefront but does not overpower the story or seems forced. A leading female character that does not make the Manhwa distasteful like in many other Manhwa/Manga/Manhua. I am so glad I read this and I have yet to find any other like it.

Exciting

I have never read a manga this exciting in a long time. I am a avid manga reader and this manga is truly captivating. Chapters have thrilling battles that leave you clenching your fists in excitement. What makes this manga unique is that this character is limitless. I know a lot of other main characters in other mangas are op too, but this character starts out seemingly op and then becomes more op. His humor and passion make this manga funny and exhilarating. I highly recommend this manga for the above average artwork and fantastically narrated battle scenes.

This is one of the best of Wuxia manhwa i ever read i'm curently reading up to 53 Volume and 55 RAW volume.

Why this is great for Wuxia Fans ?
1. The Protagonist is Only learn Gin Kang/Flying Footworks at beginning
2. A Genius Fighter who can use/steal enemy kungfu style and make into his own style
3. Almost like shounen manga but with a style

Why this is great for you
1, Very Funny
2. The enemy beaten by his own kungfu style sometime
3. Fun Reading and not boooooring too much to talk before fighting

So Enjoy this kungfu fighter HAN BI KWANG Style !!!

I can't help thinking labeling this one as "sienen" was a mistake.
I made it to vol3 before stopping. It has "shounen" written all over it. Showing a bit of skin and a bit of blood doesn't negate the fact that the story (so far) is extremely simple, the characters extremely two-dimensional and dialogue petty and meaningless.

For asian audience used to this genre, "moohyup" in Korean, "wuxia" in Chinese, they will recognize the many many various hommage to classical kung fu genre themes--Hero learning kung fu accidentally, falling off of cliffs into caves, female heroes cross dressing to hide identities, classical divisions of the pugilist world, etc etc. However, it's been repackaged into a more light hearted, "Japanese" manga feel storyline.

The artwork fluctuates throughout the series--however, the selling point of the manhwa has been its entertainment value. You may not be used to this genre, since it does not exist in Japan, but I say give it a try. Its now on its 53rd volume--the longevity of its popularity speaks volumes. And unlike say the Dragonball series that becomes hackneyed and stale by the end volume, in this series, the story goes slowly into its climax ending. Although, if you are a fan of the moohyup/wuxia genre, it'll feel cliched. But is that really a bad thing?

I've been reading up to volume 44

There are some points when this manga become so boring, and some volume that tell no stories but just battles, but, for a fighting manhwa this one is so good. The story is light, the art is not so bad (I perceive the author has hard time drawing children characters), and moreover, some scenes are real laugh maker. Despite some weaknesses this manhwa had, I still readin it up to this point (fyi, I can easily drop series from my reading list once I become unsatisfied with their progress, which makes this manhwa really worth reading). I wonder how much time will I have to wait until the 44th volume of scanlation comin out. My early volume turn yellowish now due to old age.

Dang, it really ticks me off reading the comment of that zhihu. He really doesn't know what worth it. Anyway, i must admit that the first 4-5 volumes ain't that great but story get really interesting, the action and comedy get to a different level in later volumes. I started reading this manhwa about 5 years ago and it'd always been my favourite, can't wait to read new volumes...
