Description
A genius actress has just awoken!!

Suzuki Hikaru, Hoshino Sayaka, Ito Chihiro and Suzuki Shinobu are all new students who have just entered the same middle school. Sayaka is a shy girl who secretly loves acting. Hikaru is an energetic boy who loves basketball. Incidentally, he shares the same last name with Shinobu, a popular rich boy who would be perfect if not for his rotten personality. Chihiro is Hikaru’s childhood friend and has long had a crush on him.

On the day of the opening ceremony, Hikaru happens to witness Sayaka acting out the lines of a drama on the rooftop and is instantly captivated. Upon seeing Hikaru getting along with Sayaka, Chihiro’s chest begins to ache. When Shinobu sees this, he is overcome by a strange emotion and his heart starts beating faster… Unbeknownst to the four, this is the beginning of their magnificent love story; one that would last years to come.

I wasn't really too interested in this series for the first 7 volumes. There weren't any real problems (at least in my mind) because everything was really cliche, problems were solved easily, and honestly the relationship between Hikaru and Sayaka is very boring (esp since the mangaka overdoes it with their relationship). I seriously just read it because I really liked Chihiro and Shinobu (sorry Hikaru x Sayaka fans!). But once they hit high school, that's when the really interesting parts of the manga happened! Already looked through the raws and am SUPER excited for scanlators to continue this project that has become one of my faves smile

...that skims through Sayaka's/Hikaru's parts. They're both giant eyesores.

And seriously? How are two middle schoolers both so slutty? Hikaru can't seem to keep his tongue to himself, even in public (and, not to mention, is possessive as hell), and Sayaka

will kiss just about anyone when she's "in character". But THAT'S OKAY, Hikaru, you can rest assured because she's THINKING about you when she does, right? Oh, and they tried to consummate their relationship when they were FIFTEEN. Right after they were educated on sex.


And for an actor, Sayaka is an awful one. She

messes up an audition even though she was "in character", runs away before a performance, and completely blanks out in other.
I really can't get over how ignorant and useless she is, either.

But +1 because I like Shinobu.

This was another of Ikeyamada's works that i really liked. Even though it was a bit long, i got so addicted to it from the beginning and read all the way to the end! I didn't know it'd be that long. But i fell in love with the characters from the start. Especially love the boys. Shinobu and Hikaru are such cute characters! The things they say to the girls are MOE!! Lots of parts are really funny especially the fights between Shinobu and Hikaru. I also really like the artwork, the mangaka makes them so cute. Some scenes made me so tense! I really loved the whole thing!!!

Pissssssssssssed !!! Why is it every manga I like is unfinished !! Erggggghhhhh so frustrating.


Anyway thanks to you guys commenting, I didn't give up on this.I love the way the story is written in past tense !! It's soo bloody exciting biggrinDD !! Kyaaaaa :L

The drawing is nice, it's not my type though. I have to say that this one is absolutely cliché. I don't like typical shy girls like Hoshino, she's the kind of girl that always says "ohhh I can't do this, its impossible for me!!" but then she is completely different on stage. That is just.. Ugh. Also, I feel sorry for the other girl, too ;/ Sorry for those loving this but I just couldn't finish it, I dropped it half way. I've read a lot of Ikeyamada-sensei works and I never liked it. But everyone has a different taste smile I think is a good shoujo manga for beginners.

This is one of the cutest manga ever! It's heart gripping and made me cry! :') Happy tears!!!! It's incredibly cute and beautiful. The art's spot on! It made me come back for more and checking for updates every single day!! XD Definitely recommended!! >///< Should win a Kodansha award!!

There's a lot to this story and it's a long story as well. But it's a good read. Hoshino and Hikaru fall in love quick while their relationship spurs Chihiro to be with Shinobu. However their love changes as they mature and certain twist occurs causing certain relationships to develop and other ones to crumble. But throughout it all the four of them have parallel emotions about friendship and love, as they age from 13 to 18 years old. Cute read.

Good book and all the comments are good so far
the drawings are really beautiful. this book has a good plot about the characters and their attitudes.
this book is different in a good way

i absolutely love this! it makes me smile so much at parts and it keeps me wanting more every time it shows a tiny section of when the characters are older. it makes me all curious and thinking "WHAT HAPPENED?!" i thought it would be a short series but i'm happy it's going to be a long one.

can't wait for the other chapters to come out. i think this is the most enjoyed manga i've read by Ikeyamada Go

The story is decent and the characters are likable. The coupling is very sweet which is enhanced by the drawing. I liked it but it didn't break any new grounds, but that's to be expected.
