Description
From Seven Seas:

Strawberry Panic, the first yuri light novel in North America, is set at Astrea Hill, where three exclusive all-girl schools converge. At St. Miator Girl’s Academy, gentle breezes scatter cherry blossoms across its lush campus. Nagisa, a normal and cheerful high school student, is stunned when she meets Shizuma, the school’s top student, whose beauty takes her breath away. When Shizuma unexpectedly reciprocates Nagisa’s feelings, both love and wacky chaos soon erupt.

I picked up the novel after watching a bit of the anime series. The anime was a bit mediocre for me, but I saw this in a bookstore and decided to give it a go. Wow. I'll start off by saying that plots differ quite a bit. Though I haven't seen the entire anime, I do know how it goes, and I say I much prefer the plot of the novels (though volume 3 isn't available yet). Also, the art is much more to my taste, especially the chibis. Overall, it's an excellent read that I reccomend to any yuri fan, whether you liked the anime or not.
