This was just a collection of short stories (usually around ten pages each) about relationships and...well, I dunno what exactly, but the outer layer is the relationships. Most of them are sexual and not the usual - there's sex workers, several one-night stands, lots of queers of all variety, a girl whose brother is creeping her out. Some of them are happy some are sad. Not really bad or good.
The biggest thing that strikes me about these stories is that they feel like they're story seeds or plot bunnies that never got off the ground, or which weren't suitable for longer stories, so Minami Q-ta just did these snapshots. Actually, I think snapshot or drabble (a term used in the fanfiction community) would be the most accurate descriptions. Many of them did seem to be very promising for full stories, but ended early. Others ended before any kind of satisfying resolution occurred.
My favorite part of this book is the way queer people are treated, without the sort of polishing and tweaking to be acceptable for mainstream audiences. I can never read enough stories like that. If that's one common feature of the mangaka's work, I look forward to reading more of it.
