It is by the author of Saruyama! so expect some good humour and general fuzziness. Datte Aishiteru isn't revolutionary by all means, but the cliches are put to good use and the heroine is very likeable. She's honest and cool and is direct with her feelings. I liked that Spoiler (mouse over to view) she didn't spend forever mulling over her feelings . And of course, it's always a bonus when Spoiler (mouse over to view) the main character ends up with the one I'm rooting for (Kouta)

This was surprisingly cute. The art is decent, and the girl does not have a height complex although she's tall, and her personality is relatively straightforward and admirable. She's not clumsy and she is athletic (and doesn't lose this ability in the face of the guy she likes). There are cliches in this thus far, but the characters' individual personalities help move it in a slightly different direction than you might expect. I would recommend reading this manga if you are a fan of shoujo.
