Ok, so ignore the faggot below please. He obviously hasn't even tried reading this series yet.
If you enjoyed BoBoBo, then you'll probably enjoy this. Though, the storyline is quite simplistic, it get's more and more complicated as the story progresses.
The art seems to have improved from Sawai's earlier comics, making this series more appealing. Though, it's still got that rough, tough look, with strange character designs, thick necks, and a man with mega-muscles.
Now, the comedy, as with most of Sawai's works, is still a very large part of of this series. Though, it's a little more hard to follow in this, than in BoBoBo, it's mainly because allot of the jokes are based off of common Japanese phrases, actions, and folk-lore. To get the jokes, you'd really have to know your culture.
All-in-all it's a step up from Shinsetsu BoBoBo, which saw the downfall of Sawai's BoBoBo fandom. The art is really good, the characters are interesting and custom to Sawai's style, and the comedy and storyline are pretty thought-out.
First comment on new big WSJ series. To bad it's crap from the guy that brought you Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Sigh....Why did Double Arts have to die for this?
