Taku, the boy with a black cat. He uses medicine that cannot be obtained through ordinary means.

3 Volumes (Complete)

i actually like this idea of a travelling medicine-man, ala mushishi, but shota version. however, i think a lot more can be fleshed out from these characters - as it is, everyone is too one dimensional. the ending is quite interesting, but a bit confusing, and much more emotional depth can be mined from this event, but it is resolved too quickly and simply one cannot feel anything. this manga is too average, nay, even below average because most supernatural manga are much better developed than this. i can't give manga a lower score since i don't actually hate it but there's many titles that one better off reading than this.
At 3 volumes it's kinda short but it was a fun read. The main character uses supernatural "medicines" to fulfill requests sent to him for the episodic chapters; with the larger story arc about main character's mother and him trying to find her. I found the characters to be enjoyable but the series really wasn't anything special. FYI: Not really an ecchi series (just a few pages of mater-of-fact nudity)
