Please I am begging you! This manga is soooo unbelievably good! Every character is really dynamic, and all sorts of fun hijinks happen! It's one of my favorites for sure.

It's become one of my favorites! Right next to Kamisama Hajimemashita! It's such a cute plot. Cute, innocent and light. Hardly any angst and evil people. The drawings are great, the character development is good but it can be just a tad bit slow. But other than that, it's hilarious!

I ADORE this manga. It's got great art and characters, I love how dancing is incorporated. It may seem like a cliche idea but it is done OHSO well.

I really hope this hasn't been dropped its one of the few mangas I remember it's name because I love it so much<3

Because her drawing is unmistakable!

The story progresses at great speed with great pace that it reminds me of how I loved Koucha Ouji. Yamada Nanpei's stories are those I can absolutely never hate anything or anyone inside. I didn't get really work up with the first few chapters but as far as I've read till the 23rd available online scanlation, I couldn't stop. It's just so slice-of-life, the type that I whole heartedly love. It's easy going yet still gets you fascinated while avoids any unnecessary irritation.

I enjoyed Koucha Ouji greatly so it was quite natural for me to look at possible identicalities in Orange Chocolate. Yet, I found none. Sure, if you are extremist, you'll find somewhat similarities between the personalities of the characters, or most that evolves around school-life. Nevertheless, every character stands out in the crowd, being true to their individualities. Their developments are not outstanding or prominent like some polar-stronghead or -weakwilled. For certain, they are superb and affirmed to whatever they believe. That adamant faithfulness and consistency are what I really treasure. Moreover, the "childhood friendship love" theme really captures my appreciation.

At the moment, I have nothing but excitement for the next chapters of the series. Oh, actually, I have TWO THINGS I'm a bit concerned:
1. Chiro's head is getting kind of funny. The shape. But she's still cute though XD
2. Both Koucha Ouji and Orange Chocolate are being, sadly, underrated Maybe it is my taste. But hey, I go for it the whole way! I hope more and more people will find the beauties in Yamada Nanpei's works in the future

This is SUPER cute, first chapters are a bit text heavy but if you stick with it, it's awesome shoujo. If you want a light read and aren't opposed to the body swap mechanic, by all means read it! The emotions are awesomely portrayed and the fox deities get pretty cool.

I love this so much. it leaves me with giggles and warm feelings :3 the art is sooo nice and I absolutely love the characters.

I love the relationship between chiro and ricchan. it's not the kind where you want to bang yourself on the wall because both sides don't seem to realize their feelings for each other. in fact it's the opposite. their relationship makes you go awwwe and want to read more at least it does for me.

While the main girl is considered beautiful in an cute airheaded way (but NOT stupid), the guy is appears more short-tempered, down-to-earth and socially awkward (yet still good-looking, of course ).
Unlike many childhood series, the two are still very close older, and are comfortable hugging and holding each other's arms in public (in a platonic way ). All this also makes for a unique and incredibly cute relationship not commonly seen.

On the body-switching aspect, I like how they only switch body when one of them begins to think they want to be the other, which cause often cause interesting and funny results.

Overall, this manga has a very pleasant atmosphere with a likable cast. There isn't really any serious drama either, as the only problems as of yet are mostly caused by the main characters genderbending themselves.
