Description
Akatsuki: a powerful demon of illness, which infects victims, turning their eyes red, and slowly kills them. Usually, they take the form of a strong monster connected to the victim's body. The only way to cure the victims infected with Akatsuki is to slash the victim's body with special anti-Akatsuki weapons, known as "Crave." The people who possess and use these weapons are called "Kiri-Isha" (Slash Doctors). Hibiki, the protagonist of this story, is a Kiri-isha. He is partnered with Kirisa, another Kiri-Isha. Their mission is to cure people infected with Akatsuki.

I like it! by Se3D03 on January 15th, 2009, 5:02pm

I can agree that cliches are plenty in this one, but that really can't be helped with battle mangas. The art is nice and the character designs are really appealing to me. The basis for the story is pretty good as well, hoping for great things from this one. Is it just me or do all the shonen rival titles seem more interesting than Jump SQ's? with the excemption of Claymore of course.

Not another beaten to death shonen cliche type. by gencbiba on January 15th, 2009, 9:59am

Seriously... the "death in my life as a kid has made me seek vengeance and made me dark" characters have been sucked dry for a while now. Why not just make a happy and cheerful character instead, that just wants to pursue the ultimate rank or something... It looks promising though, but the shonen cliches will be the death of me.

Great by emperor26 on January 13th, 2009, 8:01am

This looks like a rather interesting manga so far, and it was quite impressive after reading just one chapter.

So far, the plot is good, the drawing styles is nice and the characters aren't half bad as well.

But i'll just wait and see where this series goes from here.
