So first let me say, this is not hentai. The sexual depictions are not the main momentum that drives the comic forward. Rather they serve as either emotional or in most cases humourous illustrations to a certain problem/plot element. This is wacked, mad, illogical, crude, intelligent(sometimes) entertainment for adults. If you enjoy this however comes down to one thing: Do you like pop culture references, tropes etc.? Dowman's work most of the time is made of short vignettes, following his curious mind. "What if....?" If you have an open mind and are not scared of the sexual depiction(which aren't that explicit anyway), I suggest you give it a try.

I can't place my finger on what exactly this manga has got going for it. Maybe, it's the masked woman or the pleasantly placed pop culture references. Even though this is hentai (I'll say it again, HENTAI), the author seems to want to step into reality (meaning use logic) and even handle touchy subjects. It is certainly odd. Yet, I find the way Douman Seiman handles women empowering. It is something I have not yet encountered in hentai. Not in the "I am woman, hear me roar!!" way or "As a member of the female persuasion I demand utter authoritay" fashion. No. More like, if there is a zombie apocalypse a woman would die in the same spectacular way a man would go out. Without panty shots (I'd prefer them both to have panty shots but that is why I stick to yaoi/traps.) It is possibly that 'empowering' is not the word I'm searching for...'impartiality'?

It is such an bizarre conglomeration of hentai. The stories are very scattered. The volume does not possess a central theme other than its adherence to non sequiturs. The chapters are short. It was a beautiful experience. I never know what to expect with him. I couldn't tear the smile off my face when reading it. I highly recommend it. Check out his other works. A lot of them are not hentai. You cannot go wrong with more Douman Seiman either way.

I hate hentai, but I'm curious about the title page and may just read it. The masked(?) woman intrigues me. So does the part about the hydrogen bomb war. But the tentacles going up the kid's dress (or coming out?) is quite disturbing. I really hate under age/lolicon hentai (by under age, I mean under 18 or still in school). CONFLICTED!
