...Three drunken university students decide on a test of courage in an abandoned "haunted" building. They didn't wish for it, but they encountered a ghost?! Or?...
Now, for the sake of a friend possessed by a ghost, a young college student named Ozawa Haruka visits her university's Movie Research Club and finds inside a young man - Saitou Yakumo, who is believed to have psychic powers.
Will they be able to find the culprit who murdered the person possessing Haruka's friend before he kills all of the students who visited the abandoned building- including Haruka?
As the two begin to investigate the weird happenings, Haruka is convinced that Yakumo is a fake but as they get deeper into the mystery Haruka discovers that this young man is the real deal! Yakumo's red left eye can see what others cannot - the spirits of the dead. With this power and Yakumo's great insight into the human psyche they're solving this confusing, un-earthly case.
This is just the start of a string of mysterious and horrific incidents happening around them. And Haruka is unlucky enough to get involved in each- of course bringing new cases to the acerbic and sluggish Yakumo, to his great annoyance!
