That's about it, really. The first time I read it, I was dead to the world until it was over. Okay, exaggeration. Sorta. It's just so positively cute! I wasn't choked with frivolous drama, and I wasn't bored with pointless fluff. It was just the right amount of everything that makes you want to smile for the rest of the day.
And the art. Everyone keeps talking about the art! I really enjoyed the art. It wasn't the bubbly kind. It was gothicy. It wasn't the best I've seen, but it grew on me. I love the art
ok this is probably as good as it gets for 4-panel comics. The drawing isnt really good, but the story itself is really funny. Also, the romance is nice, and the story is about video games so that makes it even better. It coulda definely been a 10 if it was a bit better drawn and more details on the characters.
ok...this was the 2nd most entertaining manga ive read in the past 4 months
i was really drooling over the art....it is not perfect but it has certain good qualities..it has style,it is certainly gothic,it is very expressive with lines that flow freely and doesnt look like other manga which give u the impression of mass produced industrially standardized products...some manga give me this impression (especially the very popular ones with many volumes) rigid, strictly outlined designs with no variety in facial expressions or warmth in the lines...btw the characters seem malnourished or sleep-deprived and that adds to the gothic style...i must admit that i cant wait for a new series by this mangaka
anyway, as for ppl complaining that the jokes refer to a niche audience i cant say that i agree completely...this is a manga published at Dengeki PlayStation afterall guys! it is justified to have a videogame theme and i certainly dont think that it was very niche cuz im not a gamer (i do play from time to time) but i was able to understand everything or get the general idea when they were fussing over games even if i didn't know the specific game..i think knowing what the genre of the game is about (e.g. survival horror) is enough to evaluate the discussion....i myself really enjoy manga with otaku-related talk in them even when i dont understand everything...
the goal of the mangaka was to provide a story which would be videogame-related and add some romance between 2 interesting and contrasting characters...let me tell you it was a treat to read!...you may not burst out laughing loudly but thats not the point
their relationship was certainly very cute and appealing and they had a nice contrast between them...really enjoyed it and i wished it had a couple more volumes
this is quite a good series, despite it's lack of focus on many things...... While there is little character development....u can say the characters have more depth and and somewhat real. while it did use the tsundere theme it had a realistic touch to it.......thus it is actually enjoyable while being unique.since most tsundere based stories go off the roof with the plot and cliches
A nice little romance series with two leads with more personality than you usually see, and who actually complement each other. For once I can see why romantic leads are attracted to each other.
The problem is that it spends most of its time telling esoteric video game jokes and explicating the author’s opinions on related matters, little of which is very clever or very funny.
While making them avid gamers helps make them more distinctive, I can’t help but feel these characters are wasted on such narrow niche humor.
This story plainly expresses a tsundere character. But the many references to video-game elements probably make the story hard to swallow for some people who have no experience in video gaming at all.
For a 4-koma, the art feels quite gothic at times, probably to better emphasize the tsundereness of the tsundere.
I think the art is well drawn and suit well with the context. I simply find the heroine..... extremely likeable and cute -- tsundere to the core but she has her style which distinguish herself from the like.
The tension.... the stress.... on whether or not the two of them will unleash their kiss spree or even reproduce with all their might are there.... and this feeling strike you down and will root you to places until you finish this 4 panel ( kind of ero ) manga lol
ps. I wish I have a girlfriend like that... you know.... her feet are sexier than her face and im not by any means... a man with foot fetishes lol
Seriously this is too cute. They're too embarassed to even talk about kissing. And the blushing. The artwork is incredible - fairly original, and definitely portrays the characters very well. And holy crap, the last, oh, half of the volume, with tension over whether they'll kiss or not.
So tsundere i'm gonna die... Simply a cute story about a dominatrix tsundere girl and a boy playing videogames at his place, both too embarassed to take the courage to kiss each other... The art is a bit weird, sometimes you'd say it's very bad, but somehow it fits well and often manages to be very erotic... A really nice read...
