Not what i expected

So far, the main couple does not even feel like a couple, it feels like they are siblings because the physical abuse the male mc goes through whenever he disagrees with the female mc, no matter how small he disagrees with her, she resorts to kicking the shit out of him.
The paytern so far is just this : girl comes to guys home, talks to guy, guy is doing something else or responds to whatever the girl says, girl dislikes what guy is saying even if it is something amall they dusagree with, she resorts to kicking his shit out.

This feels like domestic abuse.

I will keep reading to see if this pattern hopefully changes

Update: okay while they do keep the abuse stuff in, after chapter 7 or so, its stops being the main focus of the manga, it still happens, but now the manga is actually focusing on the love relationship between the 2 and honestly, its pretty cute. The girl is clearly insecure, thus that explains why she lashes out, and the male mc is understandably not able to know this, thus whenever he get abused, he just takes it. While this is not the most healthiest of relatio ships, its still seemingly a good plot.

Another reason why this manga is good is because the female mc is taller than the male mc

Ok so this manga has other couples that it focuses on, which i honestly didnt like because i felt that the first main couple should have had some more screen time because the pace at which they wwere becoming much better to one another was good

One thing i really disliked about the manga is the sexual tension, there so much sexual innuendos and at one point i was just asking when do they fuck, spoiler:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
none of them do from what i recall, which gave me the biggest case of blue balls in history

Overall read this if you have nothing better to read i guess

Good, but something is lost in translation

First off let me say that this has some adorable couples. Each new pair is a treat even if no followup can really beat the first one. I like the gradual advancements in the relationship without relying too much on stupid bullshit to move things along. I also think this is a pretty funny manga overall though it mostly just made me smile.

Really my only complaint comes from the fact that something seems to have been lost in translation. There's a number of jokes that I just don't get to begin with. I know that this is a gaming magazine and some of the jokes have to do with that, but even though I'm relatively well-informed about games there always seems to be a lot that still goes right over my head. Combine this with some Japanese word play jokes that just straight up do not translate to English and you have a manga that has about 30%-40% of jokes I don't really get. This is a personal problem though, I'll admit. You might have more luck than me.

Even with this hiccup though I give this 7/10. Mostly because there's very little dumb junk that I've come to expect from similar works. However besides two characters talking this really doesn't offer much. That's fine if you really like the characters, and this is still really good for a short comic, but it is lacking in some areas.

Loooooove it

That's about it, really. The first time I read it, I was dead to the world until it was over. Okay, exaggeration. Sorta. It's just so positively cute! I wasn't choked with frivolous drama, and I wasn't bored with pointless fluff. It was just the right amount of everything that makes you want to smile for the rest of the day.

And the art. Everyone keeps talking about the art! I really enjoyed the art. It wasn't the bubbly kind. It was gothicy. It wasn't the best I've seen, but it grew on me. I love the art bigrazz

ok this is probably as good as it gets for 4-panel comics. The drawing isnt really good, but the story itself is really funny. Also, the romance is nice, and the story is about video games so that makes it even better. It coulda definely been a 10 if it was a bit better drawn and more details on the characters.

ok...this was the 2nd most entertaining manga ive read in the past 4 months

i was really drooling over the art....it is not perfect but it has certain good qualities..it has style,it is certainly gothic,it is very expressive with lines that flow freely and doesnt look like other manga which give u the impression of mass produced industrially standardized products...some manga give me this impression (especially the very popular ones with many volumes) rigid, strictly outlined designs with no variety in facial expressions or warmth in the lines...btw the characters seem malnourished or sleep-deprived and that adds to the gothic style...i must admit that i cant wait for a new series by this mangaka

anyway, as for ppl complaining that the jokes refer to a niche audience i cant say that i agree completely...this is a manga published at Dengeki PlayStation afterall guys! it is justified to have a videogame theme and i certainly dont think that it was very niche cuz im not a gamer (i do play from time to time) but i was able to understand everything or get the general idea when they were fussing over games even if i didn't know the specific game..i think knowing what the genre of the game is about (e.g. survival horror) is enough to evaluate the discussion....i myself really enjoy manga with otaku-related talk in them even when i dont understand everything...

the goal of the mangaka was to provide a story which would be videogame-related and add some romance between 2 interesting and contrasting characters...let me tell you it was a treat to read!...you may not burst out laughing loudly but thats not the point

their relationship was certainly very cute and appealing and they had a nice contrast between them...really enjoyed it and i wished it had a couple more volumes sad

this is quite a good series, despite it's lack of focus on many things......
While there is little character development....u can say the characters have more depth and and somewhat real.
while it did use the tsundere theme it had a realistic touch to it.......thus it is actually enjoyable while being unique.since most tsundere based stories go off the roof with the plot and cliches

Good but muddied

A nice little romance series with two leads with more personality than you usually see, and who actually complement each other. For once I can see why romantic leads are attracted to each other.

The problem is that it spends most of its time telling esoteric video game jokes and explicating the author’s opinions on related matters, little of which is very clever or very funny.

While making them avid gamers helps make them more distinctive, I can’t help but feel these characters are wasted on such narrow niche humor.

Plain Tsundere

This story plainly expresses a tsundere character. But the many references to video-game elements probably make the story hard to swallow for some people who have no experience in video gaming at all.

For a 4-koma, the art feels quite gothic at times, probably to better emphasize the tsundereness of the tsundere.

I think the art is well drawn and suit well with the context.
I simply find the heroine..... extremely likeable and cute -- tsundere to the core but she has her style which distinguish herself from the like.

The tension.... the stress.... on whether or not the two of them will unleash their kiss spree or even reproduce with all their might are there.... and this feeling strike you down and will root you to places until you finish this 4 panel ( kind of ero ) manga lol

ps. I wish I have a girlfriend like that... you know.... her feet are sexier than her face bigrazz and im not by any means... a man with foot fetishes lol

Seriously this is too cute. They're too embarassed to even talk about kissing. And the blushing. The artwork is incredible - fairly original, and definitely portrays the characters very well. And holy crap, the last, oh, half of the volume, with tension over whether they'll kiss or not.

Pretty amazing, especially for a 4-panel comic.
