Natsumi Kawashima, an energetic fifth-grader, is obsessed with her fantasy of being the ideal, sexy woman. Rejected at every advance by the cute guys that she fawns over, she finally gets a break when she picks up a package of mysterious pink nuts that are adults only.

With its similar aging pills, nuts in this one. I´ve read the first volume and there´s two complaints.
the story seems to end in the first volume and then needlessly continues with an extra issue, that continues.
the second, is the kinda nasty way it keeps the girl in her adult form even when it´s not even really appropriate story wise. Especially the issue that closes the volume. And why doesn´t the kid use em at all. I think someone would use them out of sheer curiosity.
That aside, its a okay story

That aside, its a okay story
This is a really good series. Changing age with nuts is a little strange but it works. Have you seen the cover for the US version. It's a good series but looking at the US cover makes it seem stupid. The US version uses Kellog's cereal as the background and has a corny slogan that says "just add nuts". Whoever thought of doing that should be cursed. I'm sure because of that stupid cover it prevented alot of people from buying it. I almost didn't buy it. But after reading it in the store a bit. I decided that there is a true meaning in the phrase of "don't judge a book by its cover" and it certainly works here. I ended up buying all 4 volumes. I'm still embarrassed by the cover though.
otona ni nuts is a cute story with a rather mildly satisfying ending and if or when you do read this story you will know what i mean. i also agree with joymahai17 about the guy asuma not being turned to an adult though i think he did not eat the nuts as joymahai17 stated.
to sum it up ; its a very nice light read for me full of cuteness and sweetness but has some serious flaws in the story like asuma not being turned adult or the sudden development of the nuts. overall i would say it gets a 7 , mostly because it was able to keep me interested on the ending but was disappointed in the ending itself but was still cute and gooey gooey goo sweet.
p.s they could have given it a nicer ending like maybe a family portrait or something but oh well it was good

the story is cute!! the art is cute!! there are good bishies!! though sometimes the being an adult of the character is getting a bit of a bore... and why does the guy never becomes an adult even if he eat some nuts??... also i hope to see them both an adult i bet the boy will be cute... well i didn't like the ending much but all in all you could give it a try!!
