LOL I seriously have no idea whatsoever as to why this series got so many good reviews and such high ratings. I guess reading too many good mangas lately makes my judgement a bit prejudiced when stumbling on a mediocre one such as this? :/ Either way this is really not my cup of tea, and I surely wasted 35 minutes of my life. This is a perfect example of my literally judging a book by its cover as the art inside the manga isn't even as good as what it looks like from the outside. Mediocre plot, poor execution, unflattering art, seriously, what more can you ask for? -_-

but this mangaka always writes these short stories that know how to tug my heart strings just so, and then I get this feeling in the back of my throat like I'm ready to cry--maybe it's because she is really good at getting you to relate to the characters and feel what they would be feeling. I liked this manga

Okay, the art is nice, but the story seems rushed. As expected of a manga with short stories in it. I liked the last story, it was lighthearted and quite sweet and somehow the drawing seems much better than the previous ones. (Like lmao?!) But uh well...this manga might not be something that I'll keep though. It's just...enjoyable. That's all.

If Only Her Time on Research Was Equivalent to Time Spent on Endings!

Maeda-sensei likes her frilly, cute, sweet and traditional romance, that she does! Not a lot of depth in any of these stories, but the art is pretty and improved from 2007 and the stories aren't as annoyingly strong in inconsistency with expectations.

The title story improve somewhat: I did feel for both characters. It still had Maeda-sensei's typical flip ending and typeset sex scenes where most of the intense intimacy is found falling off unintentionally into the white space between panels.

In story 3, she proves her excellent research skills again by illustrating a bottle of the drug ephedrine sulphate which is used to expand the airways and is a part of the ingredients in "E" today. Its side effect is that it acts as a for the sympathetic nervous system and increases blood flow...So cutely does it manifest in her little, virgin uke. But again, the horribly flip ending of BLAM with the emotional and situational resolution.
