Surprisingly good for only 10 pages. Although we don't get very deep into anything--what the characters' histories are, what their personalities are like--we learn just enough that the gaps don't bother you too much when it's over. The concept was nothing new--a shinigami comes to visit a dying man (there's at least a dozen or so mangas out there with the same premise)--but what I liked about this one was that the shinigami actually gets to remain etherial and supernatural, rather than using his ghostly status as a conveinient plot device to turn him into a hot superhero boyfriend. Well, it was short after all. The plot twist at the end was very nice--made an emotional impact--it made the whole story for me.

Short but well done is the best way to describe this. It's very sad and the art is quite good. I'd quite like to read a sequel and find out if his love really was unrequited and how the beloved deals with it.
