Description
Akira Azuma is a tall, attractive, but aloof Kusunoki High School freshman girl and all-around athlete. Hiyori Motohashi is a short Kusunoki freshman girl in the school's broadcasting club. While trying to set up coverage on Akira, Hiyori finds herself attracted to Akira's mysterious charm.

The manga is simply too short to deliver anything beyond the basics premise...
This manga make me wonder why did I read it in the first place.
@tsuto: Check the bottom corner of page 22, ch6. See the 3 Japanese letters? Those spell out the word "owari" which means "the end". That's that. There might be some special or extra for Tankoubon release but chapter 6 is "the end" of the story.
Update 22/06:
After an "the end" on chapter 6, chapter 7 of this series pop up again and end with an "to be continued", So I'll temporary withdraw the rating for now.

| Well, first, if it's seinen and school life, I will like it, so I'm probably being biased on this. What I found the most interesting is the interaction between the characters, as cliché as they might be seen: Akira as perfect and mysterious as she is, and Hiyori as energetic girl that never gives up. That is, it's still not clear yet, but there are some aspects of it that simply lures me in. The side characters are nice too and interesting enough to want you to find out more about them, like Akira's childhood friend. |

Well, this may be a little premature, but I'm in the mood for commenting and this seems like a good target. Akira to Hiyori is interesting simply because I have a hard time defining it. It appears to just be a schooltime comedy ala Azumanga Daioh! et al, but it has a consistent plot (albeit a rather a simple one). It's genuinely fun to read, and I encourage those who usually enjoy slice of life comedy to give it a shot, though it may be a bit on the immature end.
