Description
Manga version of the Summer Wars movie.
When timid eleventh-grader and math genius Kenji Koiso is asked by older student and secret crush Natsuki to come with her to her family’s Nagano home for a summer job, he agrees without hesitation. Natsuki’s family, the Jinnouchi clan, dates back to the Muromachi era, and they’ve all come together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the spunky matriarch of the family, Sakae. That’s when Kenji discovers his “summer job” is to pretend to be Natsuki’s fiancé and dance with her at the birthday celebration. As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki’s act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can’t resist solving. As it turns out, the solution to the mysterious equation causes a hijacking of the social networking site through which most of the world's social and business traffic flows.
For all people that read or are gonna read this manga, i have just one thing to say: you should probably take a look at the movie that was adapted. After all, in my opinion, the two best characteristics of the movie are: story and animation, which the latter can't be transmitted to manga. The sound is pretty good too.
Hmm seems this manga isnt really famous or either way well-known. I was reading 1/2 price and wanted to search some manga with the same genre, and I fount this one. Well in the beginning its kind of ... okay, but doesnt really make you wanting to keep reading it. It is kind of like a shounen manga with the the nerdy guy liking the girl. You get the akward feeling in the air already in the beginning but I like how the guy seems to always say wrong stuff at wrong time. The art isnt the best, but not bad either way. Its okay. Its also a bit confusing and thought its nothing really breath-taking for some reason I kept reading it -.-' Well my suggestion is that its okay, and that u can give this a manga a try.
