I know nuts about football, and even less about FCs, and I read this manga after having speed read a bunch of terrible mangas, so I was barely skimming through the pages. Even then, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and found it compelling. It felt like a modern and light-hearted Romeo and Juliet tale, and the characters have great personalities. I can't say I understood the plot 100% (since I was in no mood to do anything other than skimming), but whatever I did, I thought was really sweet and relatable.
The artwork is a pretty unique and rare, which is a treat for me. I would definitely like to revisit this again someday when I'm in a better mood and actually read through it more carefully.

This is one of Est Em's lighter works compared to her usual norm, but that really isn't very relevant here as it's still an enthralling read regardless. I myself am not very accustomed to the whole football clubs culture in Europe, thus I might not have the most wholesome image of how brutal and crude it could get between fans of rival clubs. Nonetheless the main story here still appealed to me to great lengths, from the characters to the plot development, all very intriguing and captivating. The other stories are also special in their own ways, each takes on different subjects and expertise but all the same entertaining. I really like Est Em's works after all.
Btw, was I the only one who had to do some research 'homework' for better understanding of the stories? It was so fascinating when I found out Spain's 2008 victory in the UEFA European Championship was the circumstances and inspiration behind them, hehe.

Realistic and mature - really well written stories. My regards to the scanlators for a job well done!!

Quite Ok, I just wish that the stories were longer. Because it felt like most of them didn´t even have a real ending.
Plotwise their original and fun to read, and the art is definitly a big plus.
Recommended, as a light-hearted read when you don´t have anything else to do.

I absolutely adore Est Em's style: the way she draws, the way she tells the stories, the fact that they're primarily set in either Spain or France (and in one of the one-shots this time around, in Japan).
I was quite attached to the main story, and was a bit disappointed when I started reading the fourth chapter only to find out it was a new story. I quickly got over that since the other stories were amusing and different, though in some cases slightly creepy (referring to "The Onlooker"). Oh! Also, to feed that hunger for more Alfonso and Leon (even if only just a little), the last chapter is a follow-up on their story.
Anyway! I definitely recommend this as well as everything else by Est Em; I've loved everything I've had the chance to read of hers so far so it's really no surprise that I loved this one as well.
