Lots of potential

This series was gearing up to become very interesting, perhaps even a little too interesting with too many different aspects to handle which is probably why Yoneda-sensei had to put it on hold and take a break lol. Her style suits a story with a feudal Japan setting like this immensely, she completely made that world hers and owned every single panel that she drew. I would be thrilled if she ever decides to pick it up again and continue writing it till the end.

I always been follow Yoneda Kou since she still doujinka. I love every her 8018 doujinshi very much, uniq and strong for both art or story never stop amazed me. at First i kinda sad when she decide she stop doing any 8018 and gonna start her own manga, Well but now i gladly i still keep in reading her stuff and i never feel bored to read them over and over. Wish someday her works gonna adapted into anime. She deserve it.

Ever since Yoneda Kou's debut work (Ore ni Koi shite), I fall in love with her manga. The artwork is good and the story is very catchy. However like Ore ni Koi shite it seems that this manga will be on haitus for an indefinite time. I hope she will pick up all her works on haitus because she is really good and her stories are very lovely. Really hope she does not abandon any of her work.

Very promising...

Yoneda Kou is one of my favourite mangaka, in the top 5 actually. So not to repeat it, I totally agree with the praises of Yoneda's artwork in the comment below.

In a few chapters, Yoneda manages to create a very mysterious atmosphere around the two protagonists, making it really intriguing and catchy. It's a shame when you know this series is on hiatus, I really hope sensei'll be able to continue it some day.
And beside the serious side of the story, there're slight touches of humour that are just exquisite and helpful to bear with the tension of the storyline.

I rated it at 9 because the artwork is amazing, the storyline is really interesting with enough elements to create some depth in further developments, and the characters are engaging. So it's very promising, but I can't say perfect since I don't know the end yet.

As always, Yoneda Kou amazes through graceful graphic and intricate plot.

I've become her fan ever Kanjou Spectrum and her art never fails to surprise and enchant me. Fluid movements, poses and gestures that tell more than the dialogues.

The story has a powerful start, the characters being thrown together, each with his unique flavor and dark past to be subsequently discovered. (It's one of the things I love about Yoneda's work). And no one is what they originally seem. Shikon might not be the ruthless killer first presented and Saiga might not be the careless man.

Lots of facts to be discovered and a story to unfold. Looking forward to the following chapters! biggrin
