Description
1-2) Compassionate Coffee Shop Working at a coffee shop gets boring for Kuhara until former coworker Fujinami comes by every night. Fujinami once kissed him after drinking, but Kuhara slapped him. Why does Fujinami always come by? And how does Kuhara feel about him?
3) Realize It! Ogawa starts attending a boarding school, only to get the weird Hongou as his roommate. Hongou is always touching him, but does he mean anything by it?
4) By the Way I'm... Reserved Machida has been sleeping with over-confident Sakito for six months now, ever since Sakito told Machida he loved him. But Machida hasn't let himself get attached because Sakito's the kind of guy who can say that to anybody, right?
5-6) Sue (a guy), moves to Tokyo to go to college and lives with his mom's boyfriends son, Kanai. Kanai is very cold, and doesn't seem to care if Sue's around or not. Four years later they're still living together, and Kanai starts dropping hints that Sue should move out. But Sue's fallen for Kanai...
Well, this wasn't really THAT awesome but it's a decent read. Something that you'd pick up when you're relaxing or something. It wasn't really funny, the jokes were like...being told with a straight-face that kind of thing. But the stories are still sweet
All of the stories in this manga are sweet, with just a little bit of subtle humor. As most short stories go, you crave a little more depth to them, but I don't think anybody would be left feeling as if any were without closure. Good for a light read, but nothing necessarily memorable. I like what yuri21 said about Sakura Haji's style - the comparison to a diamond in the rough really sums it up quite nicely. ^_^;
Hmmm... as usual, Sakura Haji's got a really weird and maybe even slightly ironic sense of humor. Well, that said... his kind of stories are often kinda sweet but at the same time, oddly twisted. 8.5 'cos hmmm... his style is kinda interesting but like a rough diamond, it needs a bit more developing.
